Marcos Paquetá also reinforced the importance of clubs' grassroots work, and that the coach has an obligation to extract the best of each athlete, testing where each player fits best. He also talked about Adriano's characteristics at the Mais Querido base.
“I confess that I saw little of Adriano, I trained several times against the children at the time, the day before a game and such, even to meet the boys. But he was an ordinary full-back, very strong, with quality, Adriano had quality, he shot a lot. But the recovery wasn't very good due to the size, if he saw that he didn't have the qualities and aptitude to play in that position”, stated Marcos Paquetá.

After Flamengo's victory over São Paulo this Saturday (12), coach Filipe Luís spoke out about Pedro's actions in the club's daily life. The Mais Querido coach highlighted that the number 9 had unacceptable behavior. Therefore, the athlete's representatives will seek proposals for the player to leave Rubro-Negro.
" We're going to make an offer to Flamengo and try to find a way out ," a representative for Pedro told journalist Venê Casagrande. The response came after a press conference with coach Filipe Luís, who explained the reason for the player's departure.

Pedro returned from a serious injury a few months ago. Since then, the center forward has appeared in 17 matches for Flamengo. He has scored five goals and provided three assists for his teammates.

The player received local anesthesia in the locker room, where Flamengo doctor, Dr. Fernando Sassaki, cleaned and initially examined the wound. Ayrton was taken to Barra D'Or Hospital, where he will undergo surgery. The player will remain hospitalized for at least 48 hours for antibiotics and infection prevention .
