Former Flamengo striker and idol, Adriano Imperador, almost had a completely different story in football. This is because when he was still in the youth teams, as a left-back, the player was close to being released.
The former coach of the youth teams of Rubro Negro, Marcos Paquetá, in participation on the "Charla Podcast", spoke about the change of position that "saved" Adriano Imperador's career. He said that the player always started matches in defense and then switched to attack.

Former player Adriano, known as Imperador, officially announced that he will say goodbye to the pitch on December 15th, in a special friendly match at Maracanã.
