Forward Pedro, player of Flamengo, spoke with the portal "ge" about the positive phase he is going through at the club, but states that he still does not consider this the best year of his career with the red-black shirt. Since arriving at Flamengo in 2020, Pedro has experienced ups and downs, but he sees these experiences as fundamental to his growth as a player.
"Everyone knows about my trajectory here. I've had many good and bad moments too. But, without Without a doubt, everything helped me mature. According to him, the work alongside the technical committee and coach Tite has been positive and the team is constantly evolving. "It's been a very good job together with the technical committee and Professor Tite. We've been growing, evolving with each game, that's noticeable", he added.
Shirt number 9 is the current top scorer in football Brazilian in 2024 and emphasizes that the motivation to play for Flamengo goes beyond any other. "I believe that every year we have a motivation which is to wear the Flamengo shirt, there is no greater motivation than being here experiencing this club, this institution", explained Pedro. He highlights that winning the fourth championship would be an incredible feat for the team and for the group that has remained together over the years.

Flamengo's Deliberative Council approved, this Tuesday (19), the master sponsorship contract with Betano , one of the global leaders in sports betting. The link will begin on August 20, 2025 and will remain valid until December 31, 2028 , guaranteeing the club R$268 million per season. The agreement is considered the largest ever signed in national football.
The partnership includes brand exposure on the uniforms of the professional team and also on Olympic sports such as volleyball, basketball, and women's soccer. Additionally, the company will be featured on Flamengo TV content, expanding commercial integration and global visibility. The board emphasizes that the agreement is not limited to financial support, but opens doors to new business opportunities.
With values comparable to those of European football giants, the contract brings Flamengo closer to clubs like Real Madrid, PSG, and Barcelona. For comparison, Flamengo's partnership surpasses sponsorships from clubs like Ajax, whose partnership with Ziggo generates only €8 million (approximately R$51 million) per year. This amount places the Brazilian team in 10th place in the world rankings for largest sponsorship deals.
This Wednesday (20), at 8:30 am, president Luiz Eduardo Baptista , known as Bap, will be live on Flamengo TV alongside Guilherme Augusto Figueiredo, General Director of Betano Brasil. The conversation will be led by João Guilherme and will cover the details of the negotiation considered historic.
The striker is accompanying the delegation to Porto Alegre for the match against Internacional, but is experiencing a period of uncertainty and low minutes.

Striker Juninho traveled with the Flamengo squad to Porto Alegre, where the team faces Internacional this Wednesday (20) , for the decisive clash of the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores. Out of the last match against Colorado for the Brazilian Championship, the center forward lost space in recent weeks and was not related in three consecutive games, including the first leg duel at Maracanã.
