Forward Roberto Firmino, ex-Liverpool, has released his biography where he reveals all the behind-the-scenes details of the dressing room of his former club and the Brazilian national team. In his book, the player revealed disappointment with coach Tite in his career at the time of the World Cup in Qatar.

In 2019, the striker was a member of the Brazilian National Team, a position that Tite's technical committee promised after the World Cup. of the World in Russia, 1 year before. However, Firmino lost his starting position to Richarlison and said he was never called up for any type of conversation on the subject.

Throughout the 2021/22 season Roberto Firmino had 4 injuries that kept him away from the squad, but the Hopes of playing in another World Cup, in 2022, were renewed when Tite called him up for the last friendlies before the world tournament.

However, Firmino didn't even enter the field, which surprised him. The striker says that, two weeks before the final call-up for the World Cup, Tite went to Anfield for a game between Liverpool and Napoli, and held a meeting with Alisson, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino in coach Klopp's room at the stadium. In the conversation, the coach apologized to the attacker for not having included him in the friendlies and blamed a mistake on his part and that of the coaching staff.

After the meeting with Tite and the three players, they left with the impression of that they would all be called up for the World Cup. Midfielder Fabinho also confirmed this version. However, the attacker was not called up. Among those who were left out of the final list, the athlete was the one who had been called up the most and worked with Flamengo's commander.

In addition, he says that to date he has not received at least one phone call from the coach. Firmino also says that he only received an audio from assistant César Sampaio, saying that leaving him out had been a very difficult decision, and for him to be prepared, as he was the first on the list in case a player was cut.
