The final decision on the transfer now depends on Wesley and his staff, who hold 10% of the player's economic rights.
The news was initially released by journalist Júlio Miguel Neto, from "Rede MultiFla", and confirmed by ge. With the closing of the transfer window in Italy scheduled for the end of this month, the decision on Wesley's transfer or stay at Flamengo should take place soon.
Recently, Flamengo had also accepted a proposal from West Ham, from England, for Fabrício Bruno, but negotiations did not progress due to the lack of agreement between the player and the English club. In July, the Rio club rejected an offer of 12 million euros (approximately R$72 million) from Bournemouth, also from England, for Wesley. After refusing Bournemouth's proposal, the Flamengo renewed Wesley's contract until December 2028, acquiring 20% of the athlete's economic rights, which now belongs to 90% of the club. The Football Observatory of the International Center for Sports Studies (CIES Football Observatory) classified Wesley as the most valued player under 23 years of age in the Brazilian Championship.

The news published by Ancelmo informs that Flamengo would have to pay R$100 million to remove a large gas structure present on land acquired by the club, which is owned by CEG and CEG-Rio, which are companies that are part of the gas concessionaire Naturgy.
