Flamengo announced on social media the signing of Alex Sandro. The left-back had been in the Red and Black's sights since the injury to Uruguayan Matías Viña in the match against Palmeiras in the Brasileirão. The 33-year-old player signed with Mais Querido until December 2026.

Alex Sandro is in Portugal maintaining his physical shape. Since the end of his contract with Juventus, in Italy, the player has not yet signed with any club. Vitória is preparing for a challenging clash in the 21st round of the Brazilian Championship. The Bahian team faces Flamengo this Monday (25), at 9 pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã.
