0Midfielder Arrascaeta, one of the pillars of Flamengo, participated this Monday (04) in the program “Resenha do Jogo”, on FlaTV, where he praised his teammate Gabigol. When commenting on the striker's performance, Arrascaeta highlighted Gabi's ability to score in important moments for Rubro-Negro and the player's constant determination to score goals.
“He has a lot of stars. In moments when the team needs it most, he appears and scores essential goals. I'm happy for him, as he's someone who always tries to give the best on the field for our team. Gabi is always in the place and at the moment right to complete the plays”, said Arrascaeta.
SUCCESSFUL PARTNERSHIP IN MENGÃO
Since who arrived at the club, Arrascaeta and Gabigol share highlights, and the Uruguayan made a point of highlighting the attacker's mentality. “We arrived at Flamengo together and I have followed Gabi since then. I know his mentality, his obsession with scoring goals. He always believes that the ball will be saved, it's a gift. We need to take advantage and make the ball reach him”, added Arrascaeta.
GABIGOL DECISIVE IN THE FINAL AGAINST ATLÉTICO-MG
Last Sunday (03), during the 3-1 victory against Atlético-MG in the first match of the Copa do Brasil final, Gabigol was decisive by scoring two of the three team goals, ensuring a significant advantage for Mais Querido in the title race. With the favorable score, CRF could even lose by a goal in the second leg and still win the trophy. If you lose by two goals, the decision will be taken to penalties.
Furthermore, fan loyalty depends on regular access to games, something compromised when prices are high.

0Journalist Eric Faria publicly criticized the price of tickets charged for the last game of Flamengoagainst Atlético- MG, held at Maracanã. With an average price of R$256, the price attracted attention and generated discussions about accessibility and elitism of the fans. Faria's opinion brought to light a debate about the high prices charged by the club in decisive games.
In a direct comment, Eric Faria did not hide his dissatisfaction: "Absurd. Period." The journalist highlighted that Flamengo, despite having a fan base with many people capable of paying this amount, would have taken advantage of this situation, placing access to the stadium beyond the reach of many traditional fans. According to him, Maracanã was “completely elitist” and did not represent the usual public that frequents the stadium.
According to Faria, Flamengo's game against Atlético-MG did not reflect the usual presence of red and black fans. He noted that the profile of the public who attended Maracanã was more elite, different from the fans who traditionally fill the stadium in important matches. This distance between club and fans raises concerns, as part of the essence of football involves access for the popular classes, especially in a country where the sport is considered a national passion.
FLAMENGO HAS THE DUTY OF THE TITLE
Flamengo demonstrated unity and resilience by supporting Léo Ortiz, showing that the club is focused on winning the Copa do Brasil

0When the referee ended the first game of the Copa do Brasil final between Flamengo and Atlético-MG, Léo Ortiz was visibly shaken after a mistake that resulted in Alan Kardec's goal. Despite the red and black victory by 3-1, the defender regretted the mistake and remained crestfallen while his teammates and fans celebrated at Maracanã. The episode highlighted the importance of emotional preparation in big matches and the weight of responsibility in decisive moments.
After the game, the board and Flamengo players acted quickly to lift Ortiz's spirits. Marcos Braz, vice-president of football, went to the pitch and, visibly, offered words of support to the defender. This gesture was accompanied by teammates, including the experienced David Luiz, who gave his colleague confidence and welcome as they left the field together. This Flamengo initiative aims to maintain the player's emotional stability and reinforce the importance of unity within the squad at critical moments.
SUPPORT IN THE LOCKER ROOM
The show of solidarity extended to the locker room. Ortiz, still affected by the error, was welcomed by his teammates and members of the technical committee. During the traditional prayer circle and post-game conversations, everyone reinforced their confidence in the defender. This support, emphasized by words of encouragement and hugs, was essential for Ortiz to recover and leave Maracanã with a more positive and confident attitude alongside his family.
“It's normal for a player to be dejected by what happened, but he has to stay calm because he played a great game. He has to stick with what he did well, I learned that from tennis. You have to forgive yourself, forget what happened. It was a fatality, he tried to take the ball away and ended up catching it in his foot. It ended up resulting in a goal for Atlético-MG."
With the support of the team, Léo Ortiz prepares for the second leg of the final with a more confident and focused stance. Flamengo's attitude in welcoming the player after a delicate moment shows the group's cohesion and the importance of emotional preparation for big decisions. The defender, now more calm, is ready to help the team win the title and hopes, alongside his teammates, for a solid performance in the decisive clash against Atlético-MG.
FLAMENGO HAS A WAY TO OVERCOME THE CRISIS
No statement, Filipe Luís reinforced that the team must focus on overall performance and not on a single action. He recalled that other mistakes also happened, but that the team should not crucify the players for that. According to the full-back, the charging posture is important, but the most essential thing is emotional balance and mutual encouragement within the team, so that everyone has peace of mind in the final match
