Under the light rain and the 16°C cold that changed the landscape of Rio de Janeiro this Tuesday (24), the Garotos do Ninho won 2-1 against Santos , in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship. Felipe Teresa scored both goals for the team in the match, played at the José Bastos Padilha Stadium, in Gávea. Flamengo rose to third place in the competition, but there are still seven games left to complete the 15th round.
Flamengo's first big chance came in the 9th minute, when Felipe Teresa received the ball on the right side of the attack, chipped the ball over the goalkeeper and the ball went just wide of the right post. In his second opportunity, Felipe Teresa made no mistake. The number 7 hit a beautiful shot from the edge of the area and the ball ended up in the right corner in the 12th minute.
The goal made the team feel lighter. Rubro-Negro , with more possession of the ball, exchanged passes quickly in search of the second goal. Felipe Teresa continued to be unstoppable. At 16, the striker once again scared the Santos goalkeeper, shooting dangerously from outside the area once again. The São Paulo team came close to scoring at 19, but Lucas Furtado made the save.
After another good chance from Pedro Leão and Felipe Teresa, at 23 minutes, the game slowed down. Better for Santos, who managed a dangerous shot at 28 minutes. The red-black plays were more concentrated on the right side of the attack, with Felipe Teresa, Wanderson and Pedro Leão, who also dropped to this sector from time to time.
Felipe Teresa scored his second goal of the match at 18 minutes. The forward stole the ball on the right wing, advanced and, as he approached the area, hit a precise cross shot , with no chance of defense. At 37 minutes, Flamengo came close again, with a good play by Guilherme, who dribbled and shot low for the goalkeeper to save.
Then, Santos almost scored the first goal, with a shot wide. Soon after, at 40 minutes, Santos attacked again strongly and reduced the deficit. Flamengo still had a good chance with a free kick, at 43 minutes, before the referee ended the match.
Flamengo's next opponent in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship will be RedBull Bragantino. The match is scheduled for next Wednesday (2), at 3 pm, in Atibaia, SP. The clash is important for the red-black team from Rio de Janeiro.

Young striker Wallace Yan, 20, will be officially warned by Flamengo's board after being sent off in the match against Bahia , held last Sunday (5). The player received two yellow cards in a period of just ten minutes , in a move considered immature and avoidable by the coaching staff.
According to information released by journalist Venê Casagrande, the club decided not to remove the player from the main squad, but to impose an internal punishment of an educational nature . The measure aims to educate the player about the responsibility of acting with emotional balance in decisive matches.
The club's board intends to handle the case as part of the striker's professional development process. Coach Filipe Luís and members of the coaching staff will participate in discussions with the player, reinforcing the importance of discipline and posture on the field.
" Filipe Luís will speak with him, as will club officials. The goal is to make him understand the magnitude of the mistake and its consequences," Venê said. The expulsion came at an important time for Wallace Yan, who was trying to regain his place in the first team.
With the suspension confirmed, Wallace Yan will continue training normally with the group, but under the supervision of the coaching staff. To become a regular player again, the Flamengo forward will need to demonstrate commitment and maturity on and off the field.

In a close battle for the lead in the Brazilian Championship , Flamengo and Palmeiras will face off on October 19th at 6:30 pm at the Maracanã stadium for the 29th round of the competition. The Rio de Janeiro club released details of the schedule and ticket prices this week , which have already sparked debate among fans on social media.
According to the club, fan members of the Nação Maraca and Nação Sem Fronteiras plans will have priority in purchasing tickets, being able to purchase up to two tickets per match, depending on their star level. Sales are made exclusively through the website ingressos.flamengo.com.br.
Prices vary by sector and fan plan . In the North Sector, the price for members starts at R$35 , while the general public will pay R$140. In the Lower West Sector, tickets cost R$200 (half-price R$100).
The club also offers hospitality options with unique experiences. Espaço Fla+, located in the East and West sectors, includes a buffet and unlimited draft beer for R$200.
Maracanã Mais offers a full meal, dessert and an open bar of non-alcoholic drinks , with prices ranging from R$281.25 to R$900. The space has a seated audience format and is aimed at those seeking comfort and exclusivity.
Prices exceeding R$600 at Maracanã irritate some of the red-black fans, who complain about the stadium's elitism and the loss of its traditional atmosphere.

The announcement of ticket prices for the Conmebol Libertadores semifinal match between Flamengo and Racing (ARG) has sparked a strong backlash on social media. Some fans consider the prices to be high and believe the club is driving the "common people" away from Maracanã , which, according to many, directly impacts the club's traditional energy in the stands.
The match takes place on October 22nd at 9:30 pm at Maracanã Stadium. The club has released the sales schedule and prices for members and the general public , with tickets ranging from R$87.50 to R$600 in conventional areas, and exceeding R$2,000 for premium packages.
On social media, many Flamengo fans expressed dissatisfaction with the prices. The main criticism is that the high cost prevents access for some of the more popular fans , who traditionally provide the vibrant atmosphere and parties in the stands. "I already foresee a silent Maracanã," commented one fan in a viral post on X (formerly Twitter).
