Flamengo released this Wednesday (30) the Financial Statements for the first quarter of 2025 , accompanied by the Economic-Financial Transparency Report . The document, prepared to facilitate the understanding of the data by fans and society in general, presented expressive results in the administrative area.
Between January and March, the club collected R$236.3 million in gross revenue — the highest operating revenue in its history for a first quarter, excluding player sales. The amount represents a 27% increase compared to the previous record , registered in 2023 , and a 37% increase over the same period in 2024 .
The performance was driven by recurring revenues, such as box office , sponsorships , brand licensing and, mainly, broadcast rights . The board also highlighted the positive impact of the new fan membership plan, with a more robust value proposition, in addition to the consolidation of the new Flamengo TV as a content producer and its own source of revenue.
“We are committed to reducing our dependence on more volatile sources of revenue . Our focus is on creating a more robust and stable cash flow, which allows us to face challenges and invest more safely,” states the report released by the board.
Another relevant piece of data is the recurring EBITDA margin, which measures operating cash generation. Flamengo closed the quarter with a positive R$7.8 million — the first time since 2021 that the indicator was in the black, reinforcing the club's ability to operate sustainably, without relying exclusively on player transfers.

Sesc Flamengo achieved an important victory over Tijuca Tênis Clube, this Tuesday (7), and sealed its place in the final of the Carioca Volleyball Championship. After the setback against Fluminense in the previous round, Bernardinho's team reacted with authority and won by 3 sets to 1, with partial scores of 25/21, 25/23 and 25/23.
Despite a brief stumble in the third set, when the opponent showed a strong reaction , Mais Querido maintained control of the match for most of the time and ensured its return to the state final.
The first two sets had a similar storyline: Sesc Flamengo dominated technically and tactically, but faced resistance from Tijuca Tênis Clube. In the first, the red-and-black team opened up a six-point lead, but saw their opponent close in late in the set, finishing 25-21.
The balance continued in the second set. The teams were tied at 20-20, until Mengão managed to open up a two-point lead and close it out at 25-23, extending their lead. In the third set, Tijuca fought back and took an 11-4 lead, exploiting Sesc Flamengo's defensive lapses. However, Bernardinho's team held their nerve, narrowed the gap, and regained control in the final stretch, turning the score around to 25-23.
With this result, Sesc Flamengo secured a spot in the final of the Rio de Janeiro Volleyball Championship, where they will once again face Fluminense—the team they defeated in the previous round. The final promises to be a tight contest, featuring two of the strongest squads in the state.
Mengão started the match well, but let the tricolor resurface, lost the rhythm and suffered the first defeat in the state by 3 sets to 1
