0Flamengo began moving in the transfer market to reinforce the squad for the 2025 season. After the departure of Gabigol, the Rio club is looking for a new striker, and Roberto Firmino, currently at Al Ahli (SAU) after his time at Liverpool(ING), appears as a possible solution. However, negotiation depends on strategies that are being aligned by the board.
José Boto, new football director at Flamengo, and coach Filipe Luís are adjusting the budget to sign a new striker. The club's intention is to carry out a consultation on Firmino's interest in returning to Brazil, in addition to analyzing the costs involved, taking into account Flamengo's financial limitations at the moment.
Salary and market value
Currently, Firmino receives around R$ 10 million per month at Al Ahli, in Saudi Arabia. According to Transfermarkt, a website specializing in market values, the Brazilian player's pass is valued at six million euros (approximately R$38 million).
Roberto Firmino's career
With an established career in world football, Firmino has on his resume a participation in the World Cup and the 2019 Copa América title with the Brazilian team. Throughout his career, the striker played 606 games, scoring 183 goals and contributing 121 assists.
Transfer window
The first transfer window of 2025 starts on January 3rd and runs until February 28th. Flamengo is already preparing to reinforce its squad, thinking about the following season's marathon of competitions. In addition to Firmino, other names such as Róger Guedes and Richarlison were also mentioned in recent speculations involving the red-black club.

0The ongoing negotiation between Andreas Pereira, midfielder from Fulham (ING), and Palmeiras, which is looking to sign the player for the 2025 season, has been making waves in the press in recent days. And journalist Flávio Prado, from TV Jovem Pan, does not approve of the athlete's possible return to Brazilian football.
The last one Andreas' time as a player in Brazil was for Flamengo, when he was marked by losing the ball that scored the goal decisive for Palmeiras himself in the 2021 Libertadores final. Flávio, then, said he did not understand the reasons behind a desire to return.
"After all the nonsense that Andreas Pereira experienced here, Why does he want to come back? What the hell does he want to do here?
When listening the argument that it would be better for the player's career to be at Palmeiras than at Fulham, Flávio disagreed again. According to him, even the fight for last place in the Premier League is worth more than a possible São Paulo title.
"I think It's better to play in the Premier League than the Campeonato Paulista, even if it's for the last place. The last place in the English Championship is more important than being champion of São Paulo. Each one is different, obviously, but I think it's crazy. that he is crazy", concluded Flávio.
Negotiation between Andreas and Palmeiras
According to the newspaper O Globo, Palmeiras is investing heavily in signing Andreas, including offering a higher salary than the midfielder currently earns in England. However, Fulham recently rejected a proposal of €25 million (around R$160 million) for the athlete, which could indicate some complications for the São Paulo team.
The intention Leila Pereira's team's initial offer is to offer around €20 million (R$127 million). In case of refusal, which is expected, Palmeiras must include the percentage of base players to try to conclude the negotiation.

0Flamengo is under new management after the election of Luiz Eduardo Baptista, the b>Bap, as president of the club. Even before winning the election, Bap started conversations with Jorge Jesus, leaving open the possibility of a return of the Portuguese coach to Mais Querido, depending on the performance of Filipe Luís in technical command.
The relationship between Jorge Jesus and former president Rodolfo Landim had deteriorated since leaving the coach in 2020. However, with the arrival of Bap, the ties between the coach and Flamengo appear to be reestablished. The president-elect maintains frequent contact with the Portuguese, which reignites speculation about a possible return of "Mister".
CONFIRMED CONVERSATIONS
In a brief press conference before his inauguration, Bap admitted to having dialogued with Jorge Jesus about the restructuring of Flamengo. However, according to information from journalist Diogo Dantas, behind-the-scenes discussions went beyond simple strategic alignments.

Still, Jorge Jesus figures in Bap's future plans for Flamengo. With a contract with Al Hilal (SAU) until mid-2025, the coach may be available to negotiate a return, if management deems it necessary.
CONNECTION WITH BOTO AND FILIPE LUÍS
Jorge Jesus' relationship with key figures at Flamengo reinforces the rumors. The coach is a friend of José Boto, with whom he worked at Benfica (POR) and who is now on the board of the Rio club. Furthermore, Filipe Luís, Flamengo's current coach, has always shown great admiration for Mister, who led him between 2019 and 2020, a period marked by historic achievements for the club.
With so many connections and the new management seeking to strengthen Flamengo, Jorge Jesus' future at Rubro-Negro remains open , depending on how the next chapters of the 2025 season unfold.
