The transfer window of Brazilian football ends on March 7th. With little time until then, Flamengo has already set a "D-day" for the last attempt to sign defender Léo Ortiz, from Red Bull Bragantino.

According to Torcedores.com in partnership with the channel Luiz Antônio RN, Flamengo will make its last attempt for the positive outcome of the "ortiz soap opera" after the Red Bull Bragantino game in the pre-Libertadores , this Tuesday (27).

In conversations with close individuals, President Rodolfo Landim expressed calm regarding the negotiations involving Ortiz. For the leader, Flamengo was always aware of the defender's participation for Red Bull Bragantino during the second phase of the pre-Libertadores.

FLAMENGO MANAGER PREACHES PATIENCE BY LÉO ORTIZ: "NOW, WE HAVE TO HAVE PEACE OF MIND..."

In an interview in the mixed zone, Marcos Baz made clear Flamengo's interest in the player, however, he said that he needs to be patient and calm to reach an agreement with Red Bull Bragantino .

"We understand what is plausible, what is correct. Flamengo is after these numbers. Regarding the player (Léo Ortiz), I think we no longer need to talk about the player. He is a player which we understand is at the selection level. Now, we have to be patient and calm", he declared, before concluding:

"The deadline is March 7th, it is not the limit of Flamengo. That's how long you can register the player. Now, I think that, if Flamengo doesn't close the issue with Bragantino and vice versa, things will calmly adjust. Either they lower the value a little or Fla increases it a little. Keep adjusting to see if we can reach a common denominator", concluded Marcos Braz.
