FLAMENGO DISCLOSES SALES VALUES OF THREE PLAYERS

The balance sheet for the second quarter of 2023 was released by Flamengo and it contains the amounts that players Marinho, Richard Rios and Otávio were sold. In all, Mais Querido will receive more than R$ 5 million.
Rubro Negro maintained a percentage of the rights of defensive midfielder Richard Rios, when he left for Guarani, in 2022. Now, with the sale of the player to Palmeiras, the Mais Querido will receive R$ 1.125 million. Guarani made an agreement and will pay the amount in six installments of R$ 187,500 until December of this year. The sale of Marinho to Fortaleza will earn the Rubro Negro coffers around US$300,000 (R$1.446 million). Thus, the first installment of US$ 100,000 is due in January 2024. Fortaleza has until May of next year to pay the remaining US$ 200,000.
Finally, Otávio was sold to Famalicão (POR), for US$ 500,000, the defender trained in the base categories of Mais Querido. The first installment of US$ 125,000 was paid this Monday (31). The remaining three installments of the same amount will be paid in January 2024, July 2024 and May 2025.
In all, Flamengo still has about R$130 million to receive from sales.

Flamengo became champions of the Copa do Brasil this Sunday afternoon (10). After the confrontation, Gabigol announced that he will not remain at Mais Querido next season. Therefore, Marcos Braz commented on the matter and took the opportunity to remember that he will not stay at the club in 2025 either.
" A great player from Flamengo. A player that I have enormous affection for. But I hope he goes with God. May God protect him and Flamengo in the coming years. thanks for Gabriel. But cycles close and mine closed too", he said.

Gabigol leaves Flamengo as one of the greatest idols of the current generation. In total, the striker scored 160 goals in 305 games for Mais Querido. Additionally, he won 13 titles with the Sacred Mantle. Among them: two Conmebol Libertadores (2019 and 2022), two Brazilians (2019 and 2020) and two Brazilian Cups (2022 and 2024).
Furthermore, Gabigolwas the scorer of two of Flamengo's three goals against Atlético-MG in the first leg, at Maracanã, in the final of the Copa do Brasil.

After revealing that he would not remain at Flamengo next season, it was announced by GE that Gabigol had signed a pre-contract with the Cruise. Thus, the striker will transfer to the Minas Gerais team for free in January 2025.

Gabigolannounced that he is leaving Flamengo at the end of the season and the news caught everyone by surprise. After the victory against Atlético-MG this Sunday (10), Filipe Luís held a press conference and praised the number 99, highlighting that the striker is a club legend. Furthermore, the coach said that the player deserves to have a fabulous farewell.
"As Gabigol stated that he will leave, so he deserves it to come out on top. Gabigol was the true protagonist of this decision. He scored two goals and participated in the first at Maracanã. As I said, Gabigol is a great, historic player", he declared, before continuing:
"He's a club legend, an idol eternal and no matter how many things happened along the way, they will not erase the story he wrote within the club. May he come out on top and have a fabulous farewell", concluded Filipe. Luís in a post-game press conference.

After Flamengo's victory in the Copa do Brasil final, Gabigol revealed that he is leaving the club. In an interview on the sidelines, the Mais Querido striker took the opportunity to reveal that Tite did not respect him as a player.
"It was a troubled year for me individually. The issue of doping, then a coach who didn't respect me as a player. During those moments I never tried to express that for me", he said, before finishing:
"I always worked, I tried to improve, I tried show him that I could help in some way. When Filipe [Luís] arrived he knew I was training. These two goals (in the first game of the final) were the result of the work I did last year and at the beginning of this year", he said. .
GABIGOL WITH TITE
Highlighting that Gabigol started as a starter with Tite on few occasions. On many occasions, the former Mais Querido coach chose Carlinhos to play as a center forward instead of Pedro. In other words, shirt 99 couldn't get a good run of minutes on the field.
