After a training period at Stockton University in Atlantic City, Flamengo is now concentrated at ESPN Wide World of Sports , a Disney sports complex in Florida. The red-and-black squad held its first training session at the new location on Wednesday (25). Bayern Munich, opponent in the round of 16 of the Club World Cup, began its activities this Thursday (26) at the same training center, according to the "ge" portal.
ESPN Wide World of Sports offers complete infrastructure and privacy for both teams . The complex covers 890,000 m² and has 17 soccer fields, a number that surpasses the infrastructure available at Ninho do Urubu in Rio de Janeiro. Despite being in the same location, Flamengo and Bayern will train at different times to avoid any direct contact between the teams.
This Thursday (26), Flamengo will hold its activity at 5:30 pm (Brasília time), while Bayern used the space in the morning. The schedule continues with two more training sessions before the trip to Miami. On Friday (27), the red-black team will train again in the late afternoon, at the same time as today.
On Saturday (28), the players will work in the morning, finishing their preparations before the flight scheduled for 3 pm, heading to the match venue. In a press conference after the draw with LAFC, Filipe Luís commented on the next opponent. The Flamengo coach praised Bayern Munich, now led by Vincent Kompany, but assured that he will not give up on the team's playing philosophy.
The coach emphasized that the Rio de Janeiro team's attacking style will be maintained, even in the face of the Bavarian team's strength. The intention is to propose the game and try to be as vertical as possible, a characteristic that has been a trademark of Flamengo in recent years. Filipe Luís recognized the quality of the European opponent, current Bundesliga champion. Even so, he reinforced that the preparation continues to focus on the red-black style of play.

In addition, Bruno Henrique and Luiz Araújo return after being rested against Atlético-MG in the Copa do Brasil due to physical activity management. Michael, who has recovered from ankle pain, may also be available.
Rubro-Negro will be without Jorginho, suspended for his third yellow card. Danilo and De La Cruz are still undergoing treatment for injuries and should only return against Internacional , next Wednesday (13), for the Libertadores. Erick Pulgar, who underwent foot surgery, remains out.

In the medical department, defender Da Silva is out, although he didn't play for the team in 2024—his last appearance was for the B team last season. On the other hand, defender Luiz Otávio, a regular starter in 2024, left the medical department but hasn't yet played this year due to successive injuries.
Leão is in 5th place in the Brasileirão, with 28 points, and is looking to score points to remain in the G6. If they beat Flamengo this Saturday and Bahia stumbles against Fluminense, Mirassol will finish the round in the G4 , those who qualify directly for the group stage of the Libertadores.
