At Corinthians, Tite's refusal to take command of the club has generated intense debates and controversies. The keyword that permeates this discussion is “courage”.

0In the world of Corinthians, one topic has dominated the conversation: Tite's decision not to take command of the club. Within the black and white association, an idea gained strength: the renowned coach's lack of "courage" in accepting the challenge of returning to the team he had already led to great achievements. According to Samir Carvalho, sources linked to Corinthians do not hesitate to draw parallels between Tite's refusal and the episode involving Vítor Pereira, who chose to sign with Flamengo believing that the chances of success were greater. Tite, according to this view, would have followed a similar path as he feared not living up to the fans' expectations and thus tarnishing his respectable history at the club.
The feeling that Tite was "afraid" of compromising his reputation and legacy at Corinthians has been the subject of heated discussion behind the scenes at the club. While many fans regret not hiring the coach, others understand his hesitation, arguing that the pressure and high expectations could become a burden for him. Tite's record at Corinthians is undeniably brilliant. He led the team to win the Copa Libertadores and the Club World Cup in 2012, in addition to winning several national titles. His departure in 2016 was marked by great commotion, which increased expectations for his return.
Corinthians' current context, however, is challenging. The club is experiencing financial difficulties, performance on the field has not been consistent and the pressure from the fans is intense. In this scenario, Tite's task would be arduous, and his reputation was at stake. Hiring a renowned coach like Tite could have been a significant boost for Corinthians, but it would also increase the pressure for immediate results. The fear of not being able to repeat past achievements may have been a determining factor in his decision.
Tite's defenders argue that his refusal is due, in part, to the desire to preserve his image at Corinthians. After all, the coach is widely admired and respected by the fans, and a possible failure could undermine this special relationship. On the other hand, some critics see Tite's attitude as a sign of a lack of confidence in his own abilities. For them, the "courage" that the coach lacks could be the necessary ingredient to revitalize Corinthians and take them back to the top of Brazilian football.
Regardless of the differing opinions, the non-signing of Tite reveals a recurring dilemma in the world of football: the delicate relationship between the desire to succeed and the fear of failure. In the case of Corinthians, this question remains open, as the club searches for a new commander to lead the team towards new glories. Thus, the debate surrounding Tite's "courage" will continue to echo in the club's corridors and among fans, as Corinthians continues to search for a solution to its current and future challenges. What is clear is that, regardless of Tite's decision, the Corinthians fans' passion and commitment to their team will remain unshakable.

0The defeat of Flamengo 2-1 to Corinthians featured a bad performance, it's true, but also a match in the style of against everything and against everyone. In Itaquera, Flamengo faced some off-field factors that harmed the match. The referee's summary shows some of these problems, such as the attitudes of the ball boys at Neo Química Arena.
Judge Ramon Abatti Abel reported that he had to expel a ball boy in the 46th minute of the second when he noticed that he was emptying one of the balls of the match to hinder the progress of the game, hindering the restart and Mengo's search for the equalizing goal.
“I inform you that in the 46th minute of the second half, I expelled ball boy Alessandro da Silva from the field of play, for delaying the restart of the game, deflating the ball that was in his possession”, writes Ramon Abatti Abel.
But this was not the only case. Another ball boy expulsion had already taken place in the 25th minute, due to the delay in replacing the ball, seeking to disrupt the game and prevent Flamengo from growing in the match.
“I inform you that in the 25th minute of the second half, I expelled ball boy Thiago Mastrochirico Rezetti from the field of play, for delaying the restart of the game, taking too long to return the ball to the opposing team”, he adds.
Another factor reported in Ramon Abatti Abel's summary involved the Corinthians fans. In games, it is common for some balls to reach the fans, but they need to be returned, which usually happens. But there were two Corinthians fans who didn't return the balls.
There were two balls kicked into the stands that didn't return to the field of play. In addition, two other balls returned, but also deflated.
“I also inform you that two balls kicked towards the home crowd did not return to the field of play. These balls were not returned to the game. Two other balls returned to the playing field, deflated, they were also not put back into play”, he adds.
