FLAMENGO ENDS PREPARATIONS TO FACE THE CRUISE FOR THE U-20

Current national and Libertadores champions, Flamengo U20 will have another commitment to the Brasileirão in search of their third title in the competition. This Wednesday (01/05), the Boys from the Ninho will host Cruzeiro na Gávea, at 2pm (Brasília time), for the 5th round. The match is broadcast on SporTV.

“Without a doubt (the Nation) can expect a lot of dedication, a lot of fighting, a lot of race, which is how we always play. Tomorrow is a very important game at home for us to continue looking for the top of the table and we will go for it”, said defender Carbone.

Flamengo is in eighth place, with six points, after beating Santos 3-1 away from home, in Vila Belmiro, last Wednesday (24/04), even playing with a very modified team due to the promotion of Iago, Rayan Lucas, Wallace Yan, Weliton and Caio Barone to the main team. Shola, Felipe Teresa and Victor Silva scored the goals in the second victory in the Brasileirão.

This Wednesday, May 1st, Flamengo faces Amazonas at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), in a match valid for the third phase of the Copa do Brasil. The game will be held at Arena da Amazônia, in Manaus.
