The red and black fans will be very well dressed to support the Brazilian Women's Team. Flamengo, in partnership with Socios.com and Mercado Livre, will launch a new licensed jersey with the colors of Brazil. The design of the new line will be chosen in a vote on the Socios.com platform by fans who hold the $MENGO Fan Token. The poll opens at 5pm on 20/06 and ends at 11:59pm on 25/06.

The winning model will be revealed next Monday (25) and will be on sale from the first half of July, with exclusive on Flamengo's official store at Mercado Livre. The super exclusive edition will have a limited number of pieces available for purchase.

“This action is another way to honor our fans who acquired the Mengão Fan Token and will have the right to participate in the production of an official piece of the club. Afterwards, all fans will be able to take advantage of the excellent sales and delivery service from our partner Mercado Livre to secure their shirt. This is another example of the work that Flamengo has done with its commercial partners, delivering to them, in addition to spectacular brand exposure and engagement with fans, the possibility of offering great experiences for the Rubro-Negra Nation”, said Gustavo Oliveira, vice-president of Communication and Marketing at Flamengo.

There will be three models available in the vote for those who have the official Flamengo Fan Token, featuring the Mais Querido shield and the colors yellow, blue and green, of the Brazilian flag. Shirt 01 is inspired by the green of the Atlantic Forest; Shirt 02 seeks to represent the mix of people in the country through intertwined stripes; while the 03 Shirt expresses indigenous paintings in yellow, making reference to the first Brazilians in fact.

João Novochadlo, head of marketing at Socios.com in Brazil, highlighted that this activation with Flamengo and Mercado Livre is a great example of what the platform can provide for those who love the club. "Exclusivity, direct participation and real engagement: in this action we once again bring together the pillars that the Socios.com platform offers through the Chiliz Chain blockchain, for fans and those passionate about the sport, for partner clubs and brands. With this action, we reaffirm our partnership and care for the red and black fans and Flamengo's women's and men's teams. It is a joy to unite Mercado Livre's innovative DNA with the biggest fans in the world”, says Thais Souza Nicolau, Branding Director at Mercado Livre.

Coach Filipe Luís turned down an offer from Fenerbahçe of Turkey to remain with the club he leads at Flamengo. According to a report by the UOL portal, the European club approached Flamengo's board and expressed formal interest in the coach . Despite admitting his desire to one day work in European football, Filipe Luís preferred not to open negotiations , understanding that his career in Brazil is still ongoing.

Fenerbahçe even signaled financial compensation to the Rio de Janeiro club , but as neither the coach nor the board were willing to end the current project, the talks did not progress.

The club's management has already submitted a contract renewal proposal to Filipe Luís , valid until the end of 2026 and renewable for another year, including a salary increase. The coach, who signed in 2024 with a salary lower than that of the country's elite coaches , has not yet pushed for a raise and has promised to submit a counterproposal.

DESIRE TO WORK IN EUROPE

Filipe Luís has always publicly stated his ambition to coach European clubs. However, he understands that he is undergoing a process of professional development and that remaining in Brazil helps in this development. Internally, this vision is seen as a positive factor in maintaining his position at least until next season.

INTEREST FROM OTHER CLUBS

In addition to Fenerbahçe, Germany's Bayer Leverkusen has also recently expressed interest in Filipe Luís. Even so, the board believes the coach won't leave Mengão at this time to pursue a project abroad, and is confident he'll stay until the end of his current term at Flamengo .

Flamengo continues to expand its high-performance structure . The club invested $1 million (approximately R$5.35 million) in new equipment for Ninho do Urubu , including two pieces of equipment that are the first of its kind in Latin America, manufactured by Keiser, a global leader in physical training solutions.

FIRST WORLD EQUIPMENT

One of the highlights is the Keiser A300 Runner , designed to simulate the acceleration phase of running. Unlike traditional machines, which use iron weights, this model uses compressed air resistance , providing a smoother, jerk-free load, which reduces impact on joints during workouts.

Furthermore, the equipment allows for unilateral or bilateral training, helping to correct common muscular asymmetries in athletes. The integrated digital panel displays real-time data, such as applied load, power, and number of repetitions , allowing for more accurate analysis.

Another unique feature is the inertia-free technology, which prevents the weight from returning to the body at the end of the movement. This feature increases safety and reduces risks to muscles and joints, making the device useful for both explosive work and rehabilitation processes.

PAVANELLI HIGHLIGHTS INVESTMENT IN EXCLUSIVE TECHNOLOGY

Flamengo coordinator on equipment: "These devices are the first in Latin America"

For Flamengo 's sports science coordinator, Cláudio Pavanelli, the investment places the club on a par with European football giants: "Some devices are specifically for athletes. They simulate the execution of a movement, a run, a sprint at high intensity. These devices are the first in Latin America. Only a few major European clubs have acquired this new technology ," he explained.

He continued: " The big difference is that you can analyze the application of force throughout the entire movement . At each joint level, you can identify exactly what is being performed, considering the applied overload and the speed of the movement." With the new investment, Flamengo reinforces its commitment to maintaining a level of physical excellence among its squad, combining performance and injury prevention.
