Today is the last day for clubs to register new players for the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores. Flamengo, one of the main teams in Brazil, will face Bolívar, but without new reinforcements, a choice that has generated discussions among fans and experts.
Currently, Flamengo is competing on three fronts: Copa Libertadores, Campeonato Brasileiro and Copa from Brazil. This tight schedule has been a constant concern for the coaching staff, who have been warning about the physical exhaustion of the players. Flamengo returns to the field this Thursday night (16), at 6:30 pm, when they face Madureira, for the second round of the Campeonato Carioca, in Campina Grande. In this way, the 'Tricolor Suburbano' striker, Minho, highlighted the importance that the confrontation against Mais Querido will have, and projected his team's victory.
“It's an important game for the club and for the athletes too, a victory against Flamengo raises the level of our team. We have to be focused, we cannot relax at any time. We know what football is like, we have our chances of getting a positive result and we will go after it next Thursday”, he said.
Minho debuted with the Madureira shirt in the team's 2-0 victory over Volta Redonda, on Sunday (12), and was the author of the assist for the first goal. He celebrated the good performance and said that the result gives confidence for the next games.
“Very happy to collaborate with my team, but the most important thing was our victory. Starting the competitions with three points is essential for the group to gain more confidence and do well in the next games. It was a difficult match, Volta Redonda has a great team, but our group was very focused on what we had to do and we had a great performance”, said Minho.

On Tuesday night (14),Botafogoopened the second round of theCampeonato Carioca. General Severiano's team hosted Portuguesa-RJ at the Nilton Santos Stadium and won 2-0, with goals from Kauê in the first half and Kayke in the second.

In this Wednesday (15), three games continue the second round of Carioca. At 3:45 pm, Maricá welcomes Boavista at Estádio João Saldanha. Léo Ortiz has demonstrated his admiration for American football whenever he can. Taking advantage of Flamengo's pre-season in the United States, the defender showed his ability with the oval ball. This past Tuesday (14), the athlete 'became' an NFL player during an activity held at the Florida Gators (USA) field.
Through social media, Flamengo shared the meeting between Léo Ortiz and Gerson with Jeremy Crawshaw and LAG, athletes from Florida Gators. After exchanging gifts between the players, the Mais Querido defender made shots with his hand, showing a lot of intimacy with the sport.

While Léo Ortiz was presented with the American football ball, Gerson received a helmet, sports equipment. Furthermore, Wesley , João Carbone and Léo Pereira also came forward and risked some movements in the sport.
PRE-SEASON IN THE UNITED STATES
Flamengo's pre-season in the United States Unidos is coming to an end. The squad's last day in the North American country will be on January 19th, when they face São Paulo, in a friendly game, for the FC Series. Filipe Luís continues to lead the main team's training.
The Mais Querido season promises to be quite intense , as there will be many tournaments to play. In total, there will be seven: Supercup of Brazil, Carioca, Libertadores, Copa do Brasil, Brasileirão and FIFA Super World Cup.
