The Flamengo spent R$132 million on reinforcements in the middle of the season, and these large transactions are accompanied by millionaire payments to intermediaries. The financial statement for the third quarter, released this Thursday (31), shows that more than R$30 million were paid to the businessmen of Carlos Alcaraz, Alex Sandro, Michael and Gonzalo Plata.

Alcaraz is the biggest signing in the history of Flamengo: R$ 112.334 million paid to Southampton, plus addition of R$ 13,109 million paid to intermediaries. Amount that represents just over 10% of the total value for the 21-year-old Argentine midfielder, scorer of the red-black goal in the draw with Internacional, this Wednesday (30) . The companies that received were Roc Nation Sports Brazil, the same company that manages the careers of Vini Jr and Lorran, and Rol Sports Management.

Already Alex Sandro and Michael were free on the market and arrived at Rubro-Negro theoretically “for free”. But it is natural that every contract signing involves payment to the athletes' representatives, and with the duo it was no different. Between full-back and striker, Flamengo disbursed R$10,833 million in commissions to agents.

Finally , Gonzalo Plata cost R$23,858 to leave Al Sadd and sign with Mengão. After a complicated negotiation with the club from the United Arab Emirates, Rubro-Negro paid R$6,305 million to two companies that take care of the Ecuadorian striker's career.

Carlos Alcaraz : R$ 13,109 million - R$ 11,978 Mi for Rol Sports Management + R$ 1,133 Mi for Roc Nation Sports Brazil Ltda.

Michael: R$ 7,603 million for Duts Marketing Eportivo Ltda

Alex Sandro: R$ 3,230 million - R$ 1,615 Mi for Ferreira Professional Representations + R$ 1,615 Mi Soccer Player Sports Agency

Mirassol will make just one change to the starting lineup to face Flamengo this Saturday (09), at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã, for the 19th round of the Brazilian Championship. Leão defends a three-month unbeaten run in the match, while Mengão seeks to remain in the lead.

After serving a suspension in the victory over Vasco, left-back Reinaldo returns to the team, taking Felipe Jonatan's place . Leão's top scorer in the Brasileirão, the number 6 has seven goals in the competition and is the team's official penalty taker.

PROBABLE LINEUP

Mirassol's likely lineup is : Walter; Lucas Ramon, João Victor, Jemmes and Reinaldo; Neto Moura, Danielzinho and Gabriel; Negueba, Edson Carioca and Chico da Costa.

IMPORTANT DEFAULT IN THE BANK

The main absence will be coach Rafael Guanaes , suspended for a third yellow card . Without the manager, assistant Ivan Baitello will be on the sidelines for the club's debut at Maracanã. Guanaes' team hasn't been defeated since May 5th, when they lost to Red Bull Bragantino.

In the medical department, defender Da Silva is out, although he didn't play for the team in 2024—his last appearance was for the B team last season. On the other hand, defender Luiz Otávio, a regular starter in 2024, left the medical department but hasn't yet played this year due to successive injuries.

Leão is in 5th place in the Brasileirão, with 28 points, and is looking to score points to remain in the G6. If they beat Flamengo this Saturday and Bahia stumbles against Fluminense, Mirassol will finish the round in the G4 , those who qualify directly for the group stage of the Libertadores.
