On Saturday afternoon (31), Flamengo put on another show in the Carioca Women's Under-20 Championship by winning the Americano 10-0, in a match held in Gávea. With a dominant performance, Meninas da Gávea remain undefeated in the competition, accumulating 21 goals in just two rounds.




FIRST HALF OF TOTAL DOMINATION


The Flamengo wasted no time and opened the scoring after just two minutes, with Mariana heading in Bruna's cross. Then, Brendha scored the second goal in the fourth minute, taking advantage of a mistake from the opposing defense and finishing with precision.

In the sixth minute, Raissa Rocha extended the lead to 3-0, and Letícia scored the fourth goal in a well-crafted play by the team. Flamengo's superiority was evident, with the fifth goal coming from a penalty, again scored by Letícia. Brendha, with two quick goals, and Bruna, who scored from distance, completed the first stage scoring with an impressive 8-0.



FLAMENGO CONTINUES IMPONENT IN THE SECOND HALF

At the beginning of the second half, Flamengo scored the ninth goal with Letícia, who completed her hat-trick after an assist from Mariana. Americano adjusted his marking and managed to hold off Flamengo's offensive momentum for some time, but, in the 36th minute, Ana Papel closed the rout with a well-aimed shot, making it 10-0.


NEXT CHALLENGE: CLASSIC AGAINST FLUMINENSE

With the victory, Meninas da Gávea maintains 100% success in the Carioca Women's Under-20 and a goal difference impressive. The next challenge will be on Friday (6), when Flamengo will face Fluminense, in another classic in Gávea, at 2:45 pm, in the third round of the competition.
