Semi-finalist of the Brazilian Championship, Flamengo will begin competing in another important competition of the season in the afternoon this Monday (26). In Gávea, Rubro-Negro will face Real Heips, at 2:45 pm, for the opening of the State Championship in the category. FlaTV broadcasts live.

For 2024, the FERJ maintained practically the same format as the 2023 Copa Rio, with consecutive points in the first phase. The difference is that the final between the two best placed, previously held in a single game, will be round-trip matches. In addition to Real Heips, Meninas da Gávea will have Americano, Botafogo, Fluminense and Serrano ahead of them.

From the confrontation against São Paulo in July - valid for the quarter-finals of the national tournament - to now, the only change was in the technical command. Champion of the Copa Rio U-17 and runner-up in Brazil last year, Filipe Torres took over from Felipe Freitas and will be leading the team in his debut.

- Let's get off to a good start . We respect the opponent and want to put into practice what we trained during the week. Expectations are high, after all, this is a home debut. I'm happy and motivated by the challenge. Our objective in the competition is the title and I'm sure we will represent the club very well Flamengo - said the coach.

The Conmebol board defined this Tuesday the calendar for the 2025 continental competitions. Next year's Libertadores final was scheduled for November 29, with the venue still without defined. The decision for the Sul-Americana will be a week earlier, on November 22.

The champions of the Libertadores and Sul-Americana 2024 will face each other in the Recopa. The return games will be on February 19th and 26th, respectively.

The definition of the Conmebol calendar is the missing step for the CBF to resolve the details of its game schedule for next year , especially due to the Club World Cup being held between June and July.

The Libertadores starts in February, still in the preliminary stages, while the ball rolls in the South American Championship in March. Regarding the selection calendar, there will be qualifying rounds in March, June and September. During these months, the remaining six rounds of the qualifying phase for the 2026 World Cup will be played.

Grêmio started, this Tuesday (11), the sale of tickets for the match against Flamengo in the 27th round of the Brasileirão. Sales are exclusive to members of the Rio Grande do Sul team at first. Find out prices and when the Red and Blacks will be able to buy tickets for the game on Sunday (22), at Arena do Grêmio, when the team will try to win again in the national tournament after two rounds.

The Gaúcho team published information about ticket sales on its official website. The club's fan members are free to buy tickets from 11 am this Tuesday, with prices ranging from R$40 to R$220. But the opening to the general public, which includes Flamengo fans, will be on Thursday Monday (19), at 11am. Purchases are made via the website arenapoa.com.br.

It is worth highlighting that Arena do Grêmio still operates with reduced capacity, but will increase in relation to games after the tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul at the beginning of the year. There will be 24 thousand places available, 1.5 thousand of which will be allocated to the Nation. Visitor tickets for Grêmio x Flamengo cost R$170 (full) and R$85 (half).

Ticket sales are made exclusively online and run until 6:30 p.m. Sunday, the time scheduled for the match's opening whistle.

Flamengo tries to win again in the Brasileirão

Fla's last two rounds were, respectively, defeat to Corinthians and draw with Vasco. Results that culminated in Botafogo and Palmeiras expanding their advantage over Rubro-Negro at the end of the 26th round.

Rio-Negro from Rio de Janeiro has 45 points and occupies fourth place, eight less than leader Botafogo. Palmeiras, eliminated from the Copa do Brasil and Libertadores, reached 50 points. Therefore, even if they have one game less than their rival, Flamengo would need at least two more games to have a chance of retaking the lead.

The start could be precisely in the round of Grêmio x Flamengo, yet another reason for fans to buy tickets. This is because Botafogo has a classic against Fluminense, who are fighting to get away from the Z4, while Palmeiras visits Vasco. In other words, rivals can help Fla.

Last Sunday (15), Flamengo and Vasco drew 1-1, at Maracanã, in a match valid for the 26th round of the Brazilian Championship. The result, although frustrating for the red and blacks, who dominated much of the match, kept them eight points behind leader Botafogo.

Mais Querido entered the field imposing his pace and controlling the actions for most of the game. The red-black goal was scored by Gerson, who has been standing out in recent matches. However, CRF conceded the draw in the final minutes, which prevented a more significant approach to the classification table.

STRATEGY FOR THE FINAL STRAIGHT OF THE BRASILEIRÃO

Even with the difference in points for Botafogo, the technical committee, led by Tite, devised a strategy focused on keeping the team competitive until the last rounds. According to information from the Coluna do Fla portal, the objective is to arrive "alive" in the fight for the title in the final five rounds. Matheus Bachi, assistant coach, believes that the recent good performance against Bahia and Vasco could be an indication that the team is on the right track to fight for the top again.

< p>DECISIVE CONFRONTATION IN THE LIBERTADORES

While trying to get closer to the leaders in the Brasileirão, Mengão is already preparing for the next challenge in the Libertadores. The team will face Peñarol, at Maracanã, in the quarterfinals of the continental tournament. The Rio team is looking for a good result at home before traveling to Uruguay for the second leg next week.
