0The under-20 team of Flamengo is undergoing a process of reformulation this mid-season. Thus, the board defined that eight athletes will leave the team, seven of which have already been negotiated and one is still awaiting the end of negotiations.
According to information from the RTI Esporte portal, defender Victor Thiago, 18 years old, will be the next player to leave Flamengo. The young man already has advanced conversations with Famalicão (POR) and it is possible that the negotiations will have a positive outcome this week.
LIST OF PLAYERS WHO ARE LEAVING FLAMENGOright winger Felipe Brian has a contract with Flamengo until December and decided to bring forward his departure from the club. The young man is too old to play for the under-20s and is not used in the main team. Thus, the player requested the termination of his contract and Flamengo will keep 10% of his pass.
Midfielder Khauan Schlickmann, who only has two games in the season, and midfielder João Marcos, ended up being traded to the Al-Ain, from the United Arab Emirates. Rubro-Negro has not yet announced the value of the transfer, but maintained 15% and 20%, respectively, of the athletes' rights.
The two strikers Pedro Estevam and Guilherme Teixeira are also leaving Flamengo. Pedro returned to Ferroviária and Guilherme returned to Juventude, as Mais Querido chose not to exercise the option to purchase the players.

0Flamengo faced Fluminense in the first leg of the Brazilian Under-17 Championship, on the afternoon of this Thursday (19), and drew 1-1. 0The Under-17 Boys from the Nest return to the field this Thursday (19), at 3pm, to face Fluminense in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the Brazilian Under-17 Championship. The match will be played in Gávea and will be broadcast live on SporTV.
Led by coach Eduardo Zuma, the red-black team arrives at the clash after winning four victories in the last five games. In the final round of the first phase, Mengão beat Corinthians 5-0, securing third place in group A, with 15 points. There were five wins in nine games and 19 goals scored, the second best attack in the group.
Midfielder Lucas Vieira highlighted the relevance of the result in the first match of the quarterfinals. "Important game. I think it's always good to come away with a victory in the first game, especially at home. And try to make history by winning the Brazilian Under-17 Championship", said Vieira about the decisive classic.
In 2024, Flamengo and Fluminense faced each other only once. The duel took place in the first phase of the Copa Rio, when Mengão beat their rival 3-0 in Xerém.
