Flamengo announced with regret the death of Eduardo Vinicius, aged 64, one of its most dedicated advisors and the club's biggest collector of pieces. The cause of death was not disclosed. Eduardo Vinicius was known for his in-depth knowledge of Flamengo's history and for his vast collection, made up of more than 22 thousand items related to the club.
Eduardo Vinicius had an impressive collection that included hundreds of shirts, tickets, photos, documents , books, bottles and many other items. A worthy member of Flamengo since 2009, he became a natural member of the Deliberative Council in 1997. He also held the positions of secretary of the General Assembly, advisor to the presidency of the Deliberative Council and was a member of the Contract Monitoring Committee.
The club released an official note expressing its sadness at the loss of the advisor: "The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo and the Flamengo Museum deeply regret the passing of the great red-black Eduardo Vinicius, curator of the museum, devoted his life to preserving the club's memory (...) He was with Flamengo everywhere and Flamengo was always with him, close, in his collection, memories and friendships. great legacy for the club."
Eduardo Vinicius' dedication to Flamengo is an inspiration for all red and black fans. His passion for the club was reflected in his tireless work as curator of the Flamengo Museum, where his vast collection contributed to the preservation and appreciation of the club's history. Flamengo and its fans will certainly miss Eduardo, but his legacy will live on through his invaluable contributions.

Flamengo and Lazio advanced in negotiations to sign midfielder Marcos Antônio. The player, who has already accepted the Rio club's offer, should be signed on loan with an obligation to buy if certain goals are achieved. Marcos Antônio, 24 years old, is a creation of Athletico-PR's youth teams and a contemporary of Vini Jr in the youth teams. The midfielder has spent time at Estoril, in Portugal, and Shakhtar Donetsk, in Ukraine. He was bought by Lazio in 2023 and loaned to PAOK, from Greece, last season, where he was national champion.
