Flamengo is more than confirmed for the 2024 Olympics. The World Artistic Gymnastics Championship is still taking place in Belgium, but it has already been confirmed that five red and black players will represent the Sacred Mantle in Paris next year, after achieving classify. Space was conquered in the team competition and also in the individual competition.

Rebeca Andrade, Flavia Saraiva, Jade Barbosa and Lorrane Oliveira are the girls from Mengão who gave something to talk about. Brazilian Champions of 2023, the athletes achieved the country's classification by adding 164,267 points. To guarantee Brazil's place in the Games, they had to be among the top nine, or even below that, if the countries that secured a place in last year's World Cup were ahead. The girls had a great performance and finished in third place.

Winner of the 2022 Gymnastics World Cup, Rebeca Andrade showed her strength in the individual and only failed on the uneven bars, without threatening Simone Biles. The Flamengo player scored 56,599 points and is in fourth place. The women's final will be decided on Friday (06), in which they will compete for a place on the podium with the American Shilese Jones (56.932), the British Jessica Gadirova (56.766) and eventually a Chinese woman.

Flávia is not far behind and, in sixth place, accumulates 54.699, losing fifth place to Canadian Elie Black. Jade Barbosa has 51,832 points, reaching only 21st position. However, she was already out of the final, as only two Brazilians could qualify in the final.

Another name that fills Flamengo fans with pride is Diogo Soares. The star did well at the Gymnastics World Championship and qualified, but in the individual all-around. He got his place in 26th place in Antwerp and ended up also securing a place in the tournament's final, which is scheduled for Thursday (October 5).

In the team competition within the men's category, Brazil finished in 13th place in the men's category, a position outside the zone to guarantee a place in the next Games. However, as one of the three best countries that did not obtain a team place, Brazil was entitled to an individual quota in the men's category in Paris 2024.

While Victor tries to annul the municipal decree, Eduardo Paes blasted the public official.

“Here is the statement: I doubt that the red-black governor, down to the last strand of his hair, Cláudio Castro, agrees with this . I'm sure that if he doesn't retract, this guy will be exonerated”, wrote Eduardo Paes in a publication on the page Paparazzo Rubro-Negro.

Eduardo Paes took a position on the matter shortly after the Mundo Rubro-Negro portal publish that Victor Travancas is moving to try to cancel the expropriation of the land. The state undersecretary believes that there are irregularities in the City Hall's movement to facilitate the construction of the Dearest on site.

As no one had the courage, once again, this humble lawyer, following in the footsteps of Master Sobral Pinto, will sacrifice himself personally and go to court today to annul the Decree of Mayor Eduardo Paes. I count on everyone's support in the fight for Morality”, wrote Travancas to friends, according to the Mundo Rubro-Negro portal.

FLAMENGO'S POSITION

Despite Victor's discontent and the statement by Eduardo Paes, the Flamengohas not yet commented on the case. It is possible that the auction for the Gasometer land will take place in the coming months.
