Norwich City, a traditional club in England, is eyeing a new reinforcement for the season. The English team has shown interest in Victor Hugo, Flamengo, and has already started moves behind the scenes to try to secure the signing of the player through a one-year loan.

Norwich's objective is clear: to find a suitable replacement for Gabriel Sara, a Brazilian player who had stood out in the team, but who, for strategic reasons, is no longer part of the club's main plans. Victor Hugo, with his performance at Flamengo, caught the attention of the English and became one of the main options to fill the space left by Sara.

A SURPRISING EXIT

Victor Hugo emerged as one of the promises of the youth teams of Flamengo. With good performances for the main team, he gradually gained his place in the red and black team. His versatility on the field, marking ability and vision of the game are characteristics that made him a different player, capable of playing both as a central midfielder and as a more advanced midfielder, close to the attackers.

The player's recent season at Flamengo was marked by good performances, which did not go unnoticed by European scouts. Norwich's interest is not the first to come from abroad, but the loan proposal could be attractive both for the player and for the Rio club, which sees the opportunity to give Victor Hugo greater international visibility.
