Flamengo is auctioning an anti-racist shirt created by the team for the game against Cruzeiro, held in May. The uniform was designed in honor of Vinicius Júnior, a target of racism in Spain.

The club only trades the costume with Gabigol's name. The shirt has the number 10 on the back and, on the front, displays the message "Todos com Vini Jr". In this sense, the Real Madrid player autographed the uniform, which was not used in the match in question.

The shirt is now available to receive bids from interested parties. The fan must make the proposal on the MatchWornShirt website, a company that partnered with Flamengo to run the auction. The negotiation will be valid until 10 pm (Brasília time) on Friday (14).

The revenue obtained will be entirely allocated by Flamengo to the club's social responsibility core, which supports different social projects throughout the country .

The 2025 Brazilian Championship will start early on March 29th, a Saturday. The CBFhas already defined this date and should make the complete calendar official next Monday. The change will allow the competition to be paused during the Club World Cup, which will take place between June 15th and July 13th, in the United States.

Four Brazilian teams will compete in the World Cup: Flamengo, Fluminense, Palmeiras and the Libertadores winner of 2024, which will be defined between Botafogo and Atlético-MG. The earlier start of the Brasileirão has been something that clubs have been demanding for some time and is one of the proposals of the two leagues formed to create a new national championship, Libra and Liga Forte União (LFU).

The forecast is that the state championships will also be adjusted, starting in early January and ending in March 26th. These changes seek to better meet FIFA Dates, avoiding game conflicts between clubs and national teams. The proposal, however, reduces clubs' pre-season time until 2025.

Most clubs and federations The states approved the new calendar proposed by the CBF, but the São Paulo Football Federation (FPF) expressed opposition. Reinaldo Carneiro Bastos, president of the FPF, criticized the plan in a recent interview. Paulistão is one of the few regional clubs left that still delivers positive financial results for the Federation and its affiliated clubs.

The new Club World Cup will start on June 15th, in the United States. Inter Miami will play the opening match against a team to be determined by draw, at the Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami. Flamengo is seeking its second World Cup win, after already being champion in 1981 with a show by Zico and two goals from Nunes, in a final won against Liverpool by 3 to 0. Adílio, who passed away in 2024, also scored in that match.

Contrary to what one might imagine, deciding the Brazilian Cup finalaway from home may not be a big deal that bad. Despite the common consensus that it is better to decide at home due to the support of the fans, in most cases, the tournament champion decided in the return match. This is whatFlamengo is trying to repeat againstAtlético-MG, this Sunday (10).

The Brazilian Cup had its first edition in 1985, and until 2023, there were 35 editions. Of this number, 19 champions lifted the trophy playing at their opponent's home. That is, 54.2% of all champions. The other 16 championships were won within the domains of the champion club.

The data encourages Flamengo for the grand final of Copa do Brasil. When the draw took place, many red and black people turned up their noses at the result, but now, the team can ruin the athletic party and be the holder of the Arena's first title MRV, the Minas Gerais team's new stadium opened in April 2023. Mainly with 3-1 advantage built at Maracanã, which brings Mengão even closer to the title.

Of the four Brazilian Cups that Flamengo has, Mengão won the first two playing without control of the field. In 1990, Mengão beat Goiás 1-0 in the first leg, and playing away from home, they maintained a 0-0 draw to become champions.

The second championship came in 2006, in a classic against Vasco. Both games took place at Maracanã, and, therefore, the command did not make much difference. Even so, the second game was led by Vasco, and Mengão won 1-0 after the 2-0 in the first leg, adding an aggregate score of 3-0 to win the cup.

The Red -Negro won the 2013 Brazilian Cup at home, as well as the 2022 one. Now, the team can return to having the majority of its Brazilian Cups as a visiting club if they win the Atlético-MG.
