If they win the Athletico-PR this Sunday (29), at Maracanã, Mengão will have 48 points, still far from the first placed, but remaining in contention. Due to the physical exhaustion of some athletes and with the focus on the semi-final of the Copa do Brasil, which will take place in the middle of the week, coach Tite chose to preserve part of the squad. Eight changes will be made compared to the team that played against Peñarol last Thursday, when CRF was eliminated from the Libertadores.
Gabigol, number 99, is one of the confirmed starters for the match. The striker will have a new opportunity as a starter after almost two months, repeating his role as a starter in the game against São Paulo, in August. Matheus Gonçalves, a young man who has stood out in recent matches, is also selected for the offensive sector.
Of the athletes who played against Peñarol, only Rossi, Léo Ortiz, Gerson and Plata will start this Sunday's clash. Important names such as Varela, Fabrício Bruno, Léo Pereira, Alex Sandro, De La Cruz, Arrascaeta and Bruno Henrique will be on the bench, ready to enter if necessary.
The CRF formation will have: Rossi in goal ; Wesley, David Luiz, Léo Ortiz and Ayrton Lucas in defense; Pulgar, Alcaraz, Gerson and Matheus Gonçalves in midfield; with Plata and Gabigol forming the attacking duo.

The Flamengo prepared to face Palmeiras on Sunday (11), at Maracanã. Before entering the field, Rubro-Negro lost a position in the Brasileirão table, to Fortaleza. The northeastern team did its homework and beat Criciúma this Saturday (10), 1-0.
Under the command of Argentine coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda, Fortaleza had a saving goal from Moisés in the second minute of the second half. Therefore, the Fortaleza team defeated Criciúma at Arena Castelão, in a game that opened the 22nd round of the Brasileirão.
Fortaleza now has eight rounds of unbeaten record in the Brasileirão, with seven wins and one draw. In this way, the Ceará team reached 42 points, surpassing Flamengo's 40, which fell from second to third place in the competition. Botafogo leads with 43.
