Club finalizes the purchase of two plots of land around the CT and plans to build a mini stadium
|
0Flamengo continues to invest in its structure and, this time, is expanding Ninho do Urubu with construction three more training camps. Work has already begun and the idea is to make the CT even more complete, ensuring better conditions for the players and the coaching staff to work. With this, the club hopes to remain at the top, not only in Brazil, but also in South America.
Today, Flamengo already has nine fields at Ninho do Urubu and planning envisages the construction of four more, one of them a mini stadium. These new fields will have modern drainage and irrigation systems, ensuring that the lawn is always in good condition. Furthermore, the club plans to create a specific field for game simulations, preparing the team for any situation that may arise during matches.
Another important point is the focus on the youth categories. Flamengo wants young people to have more and more contact with the professional environment, facilitating the transition to the main team. This strategy is seen as fundamental to keeping the club always competitive, revealing new talents that can shine with the red and black shirt.
Currently, the professional team uses fields 1, 2 and 3 while the young players from The base is on fields 4, 5 and 6. Field 2 is a hybrid grass field, just like Maracanã. Lawns 7, 8 and 9 are made of synthetic flooring and are reduced in size, the rest is made of natural grass.
Flamengo is also preparing the construction of a mini-stadium for less than two thousand people. The club prepares the land and water pipes at the site of field 10, which is preparation for the construction of the lawn. The field will have changing rooms, official dimensions and natural grass. The structure, however, will only be inaugurated next year. The teams face each other in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the competition this Thursday (19)
