Debuting in the Libertadores is an experience that all the main Flamengo players have already experienced, but the majority of Those registered may have the chance to compete in the tournament for the first time in their careers. Of the list of 50 players registered in the competition, the majority are youth players, 28 of whom are debutants (56%). For this Tuesday's clash (2), against Millonarios, Tite has already listed five of these names.

Many of these athletes are registered as a precaution for possible major unforeseen events, something done by all clubs after the Covid-19 pandemic . The list includes highlights from the Libertadores Sub-20 and recently promoted from the sub-17, but also includes Garotos do Ninho who already have a place in Tite's team and will probably make their debuts in the tournament.

Tite related the midfielder and four other newcomers among the 24 who are in Colombia to face Millonarios. They are: goalkeeper Dyogo Alves, defender Cleiton, midfielder Everton Araújo and striker Lorran.

The goalkeeper is naturally the one with the lowest chances of playing, as it is a position in which coaches they tend to move less, and he is behind Rossi and Matheus Cunha. The other four, on the other hand, fight for opportunities in the cast and go through similar processes, but at different stages.

JOIAS PREMIERES

Igor Jesus became a Tite's "sweetheart" and participated in all of the last seven games of the season, which increases his chances of taking the field. Another who has already entered the field was Cleiton, playing 15 minutes in a Carioca match, but the young defender faces strong competition in the sector.

Lorran, big name in the Libertadores Sub-20, continued in the relationship after the Carioca final and shows signs that he is close to debuting with Tite. Finally, midfielder Everton Araújo has not entered the field so far, but the coach indicated that he liked the player and vetoed his departure on loan to América-MG.

Yeah... No. (Can you tell me which team you love?) When I can, I go and watch my team's games. (Is he at Libertadores?) Yes, he's at Libertadores", said André, who saw the mystery go 'down the drain' because of his father.

“His dream was to play for Flamengo. We spent a month negotiating with Flamengo, it almost worked”, said Lenílson Marins, André Balada’s father. The aforementioned dialogue took place in 2011.
