Flamengo suffered its first setback in the Brazilian Under-17 Championship this Monday (8). After a promising start, Garotos do Ninho took the lead, but ended up conceding the turnaround to Botafogo and left Gávea with a bitter 3-2 against.
In the first minutes, Flamengo were superior, around Botafogo area frequently. The first goal gave the impression of an inspired afternoon for the Boys from the Nest. Lucas Vieira started the play in a masterful way, passing through the opponents' half and finding Ryan Roberto on the left side. The young promise of the base made a beautiful move and crossed for Luiz Phellipe to score. However, Botafogo equalized soon after.

The Rubro-Negro faces the Tricolor with some important absences : Erick Pulgar remains out for physical reconditioning after recovering from a fifth metatarsal injury in his right foot. The midfielder is only expected to return after the next FIFA International Matchday.
Léo Pereira and Alex Sandro are suspended after receiving their third yellow card in the draw with Cruzeiro on Thursday (02). Saúl Ñíguez felt pain in his left ankle and did not travel to Salvador , being preserved by the technical committee.
