A Caixa Econômica Federal efiled a request to court to cancel the auction of the Gasologista land, as reported by the portal 'Mundo Rubro-Negro'. The bank claimed that there was a misuse of purpose in the expropriation of the land, with the aim of benefiting Flamengo. In addition to this accusation, Caixa highlighted that the presence of politicians celebrating and wearing Flamengo's shirt during the event was also a reason for discomfort and protest.

The Gasmetro site has been an area of strategic interest for several parties, including Flamengo. The club seeks to use the space to develop infrastructure that would directly benefit the team and its fans. The expropriation and auction of the land, however, raised legal and ethical questions, especially in relation to the way the process was conducted.

FLAMENGO KEEP AN EYE OPEN

Caixa Econômica Federal , as one of the interested parties in the process, contested the auction arguing that the expropriation did not follow adequate procedures and was directed to favor the Flamengo. The presence of politicians wearing the club's shirt during the celebrations was seen as a sign of possible collusion and political use of the event, which aggravated the situation and led to legal action.

The dispute over the Gasometer land involves diverse and complex interests. On the one hand, Flamengo and its supporters see the expropriation and auction as an opportunity to expand and improve the club's facilities. On the other side, Caixa and other parties argue that the process has been compromised and requires a judicial review to ensure transparency and justice.
