The Flamengo is preparing to face Vasco in a decisive classic next Sunday (15), but the red-black team has to deal with some important challenges. Hanging and suspended players are factors that can directly influence the team's performance. Among the athletes who enter the field suspended, that is, with two yellow cards, are defender Léo Ortiz and right-back Carlinhos.

These players need to be careful during the match, as a new yellow card will result in automatic suspension in the following game. Flamengo, which is in an important phase of the season, needs maximum strength on the field to not compromise its chances in future championships. Léo Ortiz is one of the team's defensive pillars and his absence could be felt in the next matches, if he receives a third yellow card.

He will have to maintain the balance between defending with intensity, a characteristic that made him stand out until here, and avoid moves that could result in punishment. The defender has been a fundamental part of the coach's scheme, contributing both to marking and passing the ball. Carlinhos, a full-back who has also accumulated two yellow cards, is one of the options for the right side of the field, and the team may face difficulties in plays on the flanks if he is forced to leave.

FLAMENGO HAS ALERT ON

In addition to those suspended, Flamengo already has confirmed absences for the game against Vasco. Midfielder Charly Alcaraz is out after receiving a red card in the previous match against Corinthians. His absence is a significant loss for the team, as he had been one of the most active players in midfield. Alcaraz, who had a consistent performance throughout the season, helping both in creating plays and marking, will not be able to be used in this round. Without him, the coach will have to rethink the formation in midfield, possibly opting for a substitute with a more defensive profile or looking for alternatives to maintain the same quality in offensive transitions.

Another important absence is Ayrton Lucas, who accumulated three yellow cards, which also takes him out of the match against Vasco. The left-back has been one of the team's highlights, both defensively and in support of the attack, where he often launches at speed to create opportunities. His absence must be felt, as his presence has been an important factor in offensive plays on the edges of the field

Check it out:
