Ayrton Lucas, left-back of Flamengo, will be missing the team in the next round of the Brazilian Championship against Vasco da Gama. The player received his third yellow card in the last match and, consequently, is suspended for the classic. The absence of Ayrton Lucas represents a significant loss for coach Tite, who will have to look for alternatives for the team's left flank.

Ayrton Lucas has been a fundamental piece in Flamengo's tactical formation, both defensively and offensively . His speed and ability to support the attack are characteristics that make him one of the main players in the squad. With his suspension, Flamengo will need to rethink their strategy to face Vasco, who are also going through a decisive moment in the competition.

FLAMENGO FINDS THEMSELVES LIMITED IN THE SEASON

< Options to replace Ayrton Lucas are limited. The most natural alternative would be to use Alex Sandro, one of the most experienced players in the squad. However, Alex Sandro has not played frequently this season due to physical issues and, when he played, he showed that he no longer has the same intensity as in previous years. Another option would be to improvise a player from another position on the side, something that Tite has already done in emergency situations, but which is never the ideal choice.

Ayrton Lucas' suspension could also force the Flamengo to change your playing style. The full-back is known for his ability to advance down the left flank, creating plays and serving attackers with precise crosses. Without him, the team loses this offensive strength, which can lead to a more cautious scheme, prioritizing defensive solidity to the detriment of aggressiveness in attack.

Last Tuesday, the candidate for re-election for mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes, denied the journalist Ancelmo Gois, from Globo. In a post on Instagram, the mayor informed that the city hall will be responsible for removing the megastructure on the gas meter site, different from what was reported. Furthermore, he guaranteed that Flamengo will have its new stadium, with the best conditions and security.

The news published by Ancelmo informs that Flamengo would have to pay R$100 million to remove a large gas structure present on land acquired by the club, which is owned by CEG and CEG-Rio, which are companies that are part of the gas concessionaire Naturgy.

According to the article, the companies were informed that Flamengo is the responsible for bearing the expenses, as provided for in one of the annexes to the land purchase and transfer contract. The clause, however, does not have a specified limit.

Eduardo Paes guarantees that the removal is the responsibility of Rio's city hall.

Paes stated that the values for the transfer of the structure are different from what was pointed out in the article by Ancelmo Gois. Furthermore, it exempted Flamengo from any responsibility, and that the city hall has been planning to remove it for years.

“They are making me defend @flamengo more than I would like: let it be clear that this is not the The cost of this transfer and when it happens will be the responsibility of the city of Rio, which knows that this structure cannot be in an area that is already receiving so many residential buildings. It's been in our plans for a long time! Flamengo will have its new stadium there in the gasometer with all the quality and safety that the region demands and deserves. Period!”, published the mayor.

Corinthians managed to beat Flamengo this past Sunday afternoon (1), in a match valid for the 25th round of the Brasileirão. In addition to losing points, Mais Querido also loses Ayrton Lucas for the next game, as the left-back received his third yellow card and is out of the classic against Vasco.

The yellow card received by Ayrton Lucas was after the player questioned referee Ramon Abatti Abel's decision. During the play, the full-back dribbled past two markers and fell after contact with his opponents. However, the judge interpreted that the athlete simulated a penalty.

POSSIBLE ALEX SANDRO DEBUT

Thus, with Ayrton Lucas out of the next Brasileirão game , Alex Sandro, Mais Querido's new reinforcement, has the chance to make his debut at Maracanã. Furthermore, Léo Pereira can also be improvised in the position.

Coach Tite will have around 13 days to prepare the team before facing Vasco. This is because the Brazilian calendar will have a break for the FIFA Date on the 5th and 10th of September, respectively.

FLAMENGO faces Vasco on Sunday (15), at 6:30 pm, at Maracanã, for the 26th round of the Brasileirão. However, before worrying about the match, Rubro-Negro focuses on the return match against Bahia, in the quarter-finals of the Copa do Brasil, on September 12th.
