In the return game of the Carioca U17 quarter-finals, the Flamengo beat Nova Iguaçu 3-0 this Saturday morning (26), in Gávea, and guaranteed qualification for the semi-finalsof the competition. Camargo, Italo and Alan Santos scored the goals for the red-black team. After the final whistle, Garotos do Ninho received the Guanabara Cup champion trophy. O More Querido will face Botafogo in the next phase, with the advantage of deciding the return game at home for having had the best campaign in the first phase.
The game
< p style="border: 1px solid rgb(197, 0, 24);">Needing to return the score from the first leg (2 to 0), Garotos do Ninho started the game looking to value possession of the ball in the offensive field. With more game volume, Flamengo was able to create some opportunities in attack.
At 25 ', Pablo drove through the middle and risked a shot from outside the area. The goalkeeper palmed it to the side. In the next play, Mengão opened the scoring! Fred crossed just enough for Camargo to complete the first goal into the net: 1-0. The Boys from the Ninho went into the break dominating the match and needing one more goal to qualify.
On the way back After the break, Rubro-Negro continued the attack to try to score the second goal. Until at 19', Mengão managed to extend the score! After stealing the ball in attack, Alan Santos gave a great pass to Italo, who invaded the area and hit the goalkeeper's corner: 2 to 0.
Ten minutes later, Garotos do Ninho scored the third. Alan Santos received the ball in the area, dribbled past the goalkeeper, passed the defender and finished to score a great goal: 3-0. In the final stretch, the red-black team controlled possession of the ball, left the field with the victory and is in the semifinals of the Carioca U17.

Flamengo returns to the field this Sunday (05), at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), to face Bahia, at Arena Fonte Nova , in Salvador. The duel is valid for the 27th round of the Brazilian Championship and will be broadcast exclusively by Premiere (pay-per-view).
The Rubro-Negro faces the Tricolor with some important absences : Erick Pulgar remains out for physical reconditioning after recovering from a fifth metatarsal injury in his right foot. The midfielder is only expected to return after the next FIFA International Matchday.
Léo Pereira and Alex Sandro are suspended after receiving their third yellow card in the draw with Cruzeiro on Thursday (02). Saúl Ñíguez felt pain in his left ankle and did not travel to Salvador , being preserved by the technical committee.

The preparation, which lasted two days, ended with tactical work led by Rogério Ceni , while the defensive sector underwent specific activities under the guidance of assistant Nelson Simões.
The Tricolor coach faces a long list of 12 absences, including suspensions and players sent to the medical department. On the other hand, the coach received two pieces of good news: the return of Acevedo after serving a suspension, and the possible early return of defender David Duarte, who trained with the squad and may be included earlier than expected.
