ALEX SANDRO CONTRACT

Alex Sandro signed a two-year contract with Flamengo. Therefore, the left-back will be a Red and Black athlete until the end of 2026. The player arrives to replace Matías Viña, who is out of the season due to injury.

After beating Bolívar 2-0 in the first leg, at Maracanã and being defeated 1-0 in the second leg, at the altitude of La Paz, Flamengo managed to advance to the quarter-finals of the Libertadores and now faces Peñarol, on the 19th and 26th of September.

FOCUS ON THE NEXT GAME

Despite having already signed with Rubro-Negro, Alex Sandro only arrives in Rio on Thursday (29). Therefore, the full-back will not be able to play in the first game against Bahia, this Wednesday (28), in the quarter-finals of the Copa do Brasil. The match will start at 9:30 pm, at Arena Fonte Nova.
