After eliminating Palmeiras in the middle of the week, in the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil, Flamengo is preparing for another game against the São Paulo team, this time, for the Brazilian Championship, in a duel valid for the 22nd round of the competition, at 4pm, at Maracanã Stadium. After confirming the classification for the next phase of the Copa do Brasil, Flamengo started last Thursday (08) , at the Ninho do Urubu Training Center, preparation for the duel against Palmeiras, for the Brazilian Championship. Coach Tite's team wants to regain the lead in the competition and to do so, they need to beat their rival and hope for a defeat for Botafogo, against Juventude, in Caxias do Sul.
For this Sunday's clash ( 11), more than 42 thousand tickets were sold, the board expects more than 56 thousand fans to attend the game between the teams, considering that these are two teams bidding for the Brazilian Championship title.
Flamengo seeks to resume its victories, after two consecutive defeats

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm.
