Gabigol, Flamengo's tireless top scorer, reached a historic mark when he scored his 150th goal for the club in the 2-0 victory over Fortaleza, in a match valid for the Brazilian Championship, held at Maracanã. The striker achieved this feat on a successful path that began in 2019.

In his first year at the club, Gabigol needed six games to score his first goal. The special moment happened in the 4-1 victory over Americano, for the Campeonato Carioca. That season, the striker reached his best career mark, with an impressive 43 goals, becoming an important protagonist in the red-black squad.

However, Gabigol's most memorable and unforgettable moment occurred in the final of the 2019 Libertadores. The then number 9 shone when he scored two goals in just three minutes against River Plate, guaranteeing the continental title for Flamengo.

In 2020, Gabigol continued to shine, with 27 goals and 12 assists, repeating his top-scoring season at Santos. Flamengo won the Campeonato Carioca, Supercopa, Recopa and Brasileirão titles, and the striker left his mark in all competitions.

The following year, in 2021, Gabigol was again decisive in the final da Libertadores, scoring a goal against Palmeiras. Unfortunately, this time it wasn't enough for Flamengo to win the title. At the end of the season, the striker accumulated 34 goals and 10 assists.

The titles continued in 2022, and Gabigol showed his nose for goal once again. In the Libertadores final against Athletico-PR, the striker scored the goal that secured Flamengo's third continental title. In addition, the club from Rio won the Copa do Brasil. Throughout the year, Gabigol scored 29 goals and provided five assists.

The year 2023 brought an emblematic change in the striker's career, who left the number 9 shirt behind and assumed the number 10 shirt, which was once used by idols like Zico. So far, Gabigol continues to show his talent, with 17 goals and three assists, proving to be a key player in Flamengo's success.
