GABIGOL SPEAKS OUT FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER CONFIRMATION OF THE SUSPENSIVE EFFECT; CHECK OUT

On the morning of this Tuesday (30) the Flamengoofficially announced that Gabigol's defense had achieved the suspensive effect so that the attacker could return to play. Thus, after confirmation, Gávea's number 10 made a publication on his social networks celebrating the decision.

Through his Instagram, Gabigol published a video in which he ran towards Maracanã, wearing the shirt 10 of Rubro-Negro. Furthermore, the art accompanies the song "A cada vento" by rappers Criolo and Emicida.

The attacker received the sentence that he would be suspended from football on February 25th, when the Anti-Doping Court of Justice (TJD-AD) ruled that the player could not play until April 7th, 2025, due to attempted fraud in an anti-doping test. Thus, the player was prevented from visiting the facilities Flamengo.

RETURN TO TRAINING

With the suspension effect, Gabigol will now be able to return to CT Ninho do Urubu and it is possible that this Tuesday (30th) the attacker will train with the rest of the squad. Even though it is written for the Copa do Brasil, it is likely that Tite will not select the player, as he is out of rhythm in the game.

The Rubro-Negro squad will perform again at Ninho do Urubu from 3pm this Tuesday (30) where they finalize preparation for the game against Amazonas. The first match will be at Maracanã, this Wednesday (1), at 9:30 pm.

CAMPANHA IRREGULAR DOS GAROTOS DO NINHO

A campanha dos Garotos do Ninho no Estadual é marcada por instabilidade. Até o momento, o Flamengo soma um empate e uma derrota, com apenas um ponto conquistado. Na estreia, a equipe ficou no 1 a 1 com a Portuguesa, em jogo adiantado da quinta rodada, e depois acabou derrotada pelo Bangu.

Com esse desempenho, o Mais Querido ocupa a terceira colocação do Grupo B. Vale destacar que Flamengo e Portuguesa são, até agora, os únicos clubes do grupo com dois jogos disputados, em função do ajuste no calendário da competição.

DESFALQUE CONFIRMADO PARA BRUNO PIVETTI

Para o confronto diante do Volta Redonda, o técnico Bruno Pivetti terá um desfalque certo. O lateral-esquerdo Johnny Góes está fora da partida após sofrer uma lesão no ombro esquerdo na derrota por 2 a 1 para o Bangu, na última quarta-feira (14).

O jogador passou por procedimento cirúrgico na quinta-feira (15) e não possui previsão de retorno imediato. A tendência é que Gusttavo, que já substituiu Johnny durante a partida anterior, seja mantido como titular na lateral esquerda.
