The Flamengo delegation is already in Uruguay, where they are finishing their preparations for the clash against Peñarol this Wednesday (25). Rubro-Negro needs to reverse the Uruguayan team's 1-0 score and to do so the players have to be focused and inspired. This last Tuesday (24), Gerson made a publication about what the stance will be like in the confrontation.

Mais Querido's number 8 shared a photo leaving Ninho do Urubu heading to Galeão International Airport. In the caption, Gerson placed four stickers, in order: brain, cold, heart and fire. The phrase is close to "cold head, warm heart", often used by coach Abel Ferreira.

It can be understood that the emojis published by Gerson are defined as an intense team, giving life on the field, but without losing reason and control. This is because Mais Querido needs to be patient to reverse the score against Peñarol.

FOCUS ON THE DECISION

The red and black squad will finalize their preparation for the Libertadores clash this Wednesday (25), at Ciudad Desportiva Luis Suárez, in the afternoon.

Thus, on Thursday (26), Mais Querido enters the field with the mission of beat Peñarol and qualify for the Libertadores semi-finals. The clash will start at 7pm, at Campeón del Siglo.

This season, many clubs with huge debts invested heavily to get close to Flamengo and Palmeiras in the competitions they compete in, such as Botafogo and Corinthians. Irritated by the situation, Mais Querido and the alviverde team lead the movement to implement financial fair play in Brazilian football. This Monday (23), Leila Pereira raised her tone and criticized the situation experienced in the Brasileirão.

"I have already spoken several times. I heard that there has already been a study at the CBF, it is ready to implement fair play and there was no progress. I think it's fundamental. It's absurd for clubs that don't pay salaries, don't pay taxes, to continue hiring and do absolutely nothing. If they wait for the clubs to organize themselves, it won't happen. never because the interest of many clubs is to continue like this, they only see winning the next title", said Leila Pereira.

"If the club breaks, there's no problem. have financial fair play, clubs that don't pay on time are prevented from hiring and the president takes personal responsibility for irresponsibility. Only then would Brazilian football be able to do so. Because otherwise they wait for the club to go bankrupt, these SAFs come, they come in, sometimes SAF like that. has so much credibility. It's a shame, because it's a wonderful product", added the president of Palmeiras.

CLUBS MEET TO DEBATE FINANCIAL FAIR PLAY

At the beginning of September, clubs such as Flamengo, São Paulo, Palmeiras, Internacional, Vasco, Fortaleza and Fluminense, as well as teams from the second and third divisions, met to discuss the implementation of financial fair play.

"This issue of fair play, if everything goes well, if I am re-elected president of Palmeiras, it is an issue that I will bring the clubs together to talk about. It's not possible, it's very unfair. Palmeiras pays everything on time. I don't delay a day's salary or the image of my athletes or my collaborators. Since I've been president, I've never been late", highlighted Leila.

"If I don't make any hires, it's because I can't financially afford those hires. How can I compete with a club that doesn't pay players on time, that pays CLT but doesn't pay image, on equal terms? Sometimes a well-organized club stays and another passes because it is irresponsible. It cannot. The CBF has to see this, it has to look at this", asked Leila Pereira.

MEANWHILE...

While the teams don't reach a consensus , Flamengo focuses on the big decision of the Libertadores. Mais Querido takes the field this Thursday (26th), at 7pm, in the return game of the quarter-finals against Peñarol, in Montevideo.

The week of return matches for the Libertadores quarter-finals has already started and there is already a semi-finalist: River Plate (ARG). This last Tuesday (24), the Argentine team beat Colo-Colo (CHI) 1-0, at the Monumental de Núñez Stadium.

In the first leg, the game ended in a 1-0 draw. 1, in Santiago, Chile. Thus, River Plate won and is classified for the next knockout stage. The Argentine team awaits the definition of the clash between Atlético-MG x Fluminense. In the first match, the Rio team won 1-0.

MATCH SUMMARY

The game between River Plate and Colo-Colo started off strong. After the first clash, former Flamengo Arturo Vidal provoked the Argentine team, saying that he had more titles in his career than the entire Argentine squad combined. Thus, the midfielder was heavily booed by the fans present at the stadium and also exchanged shoves with players such as Nacho Fernandéz and Marcos Acuña.

Despite playing at home, River Plate used the tactic of leaving the ball with Colo-Colo and exploited the opponent's mistakes. One of them happened 15 minutes into the first half. After a rebound, Santiago Simón took advantage of the ball and crossed for Facundo Colidio to open the scoring.

NEXT DECISIONS

This Wednesday (25), two more clubs will become semi-finalists in the Libertadores. This is because, in addition to the match between Atlético-MG x Fluminense, São Paulo x Botafogo are also competing for the other place in the competition. The clashes take place at 7pm and 9:30pm, respectively.

Rapper Oruam, 23, spat at a fan during a show he performed in Salvador, Bahia, last Friday (20). In a video published on TikTok by a fan, the rapper appears looking directly at a person close to the stage and then the musician spits and appears to curse the person. On Monday morning (23), Oruam used Instagram Stories to explain what happened.

According to the musician, the person attacked spent the show making a “faction sign” for him. “He was always making a faction sign to me. There came a part [of the song] where I talk about my father's music. He looked at me and said something related to my father. Then he soon got spat in the face (sic) and took some beatings”, he said.

The rapper also made a point of writing that he is not part of any faction.

Who Is Oruam's father?

The rapper's father is known as Marcinho VP, identified as one of the leaders of the criminal faction Comando Vermelho, a group that controls part of the drug trafficking in Rio de Janeiro.

In August, Oruam spoke about his father's arrest on social media: “My father was arrested at the age of 20, almost 30 years ago. For more than 15 years he has lived locked in a six-square-meter cell, with two hours of sunbathing a day, when authorized, and without contact with anyone other than the prison guards.” >
