The fourth red-and-black reinforcement in the transfer window was presented this Monday afternoon, at CT do Ninho do urubu. The Ecuadorian, among other topics, revealed a conversation he had with one of the leaders of the red and black squad and said that after that, he was calm about his adaptation to the Carioca club.

— I met David Luiz singing and we started talking. He said that whatever I need, I can count on him. Arrascaeta also spoke to me. I've become calmer now. I know that my adaptation will be good -, declared Plata, in a press conference.

Plata has been integrated into the Flamengo squad since last week and, with that, there has already been time to start bonding with his teammates. During the FIFA Data period break, the striker trained alongside Alex Sandro, who is also recently signed. However, since Thursday (05), the player has been carrying out activities with the red and black squad.

It's worth remembering that David Luiz is a kind of "big daddy" for the youngest members of the squad. The player advises, talks and is one of the most beloved in the group of players. In fact, it was one of the reasons for the turn of the key for former Fla full-back, Rodinei, who revealed that he had spoken a lot with the defender.

What now?

Even with the official presentation only taking place this Monday (09), Gonzalo Plata already has his name registered in the CBF's Daily Newsletter (BID). Given this situation, the expectation remains to know whether the Ecuadorian will debut in the classic against Vasco, on Sunday (15), for the Brasileirão.

Finally, before facing their rival from Rio, Flamengo receives the Bahia on Thursday (12), for the return of the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil. However, Gonzalo Plata will not be available, as he was not registered in this stage of the national knockout stage

Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region. Check it out:

"The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that the athlete Gabriel Barbosa underwent tests that did not diagnose an injury to the posterior muscle of his right thigh.
