Gradually, Flamengo is once again excited about building the Gasologista stadium, in the central region of Rio de Janeiro. According to the newspaper O Globo, the former value of the land, which was around R$200 million, has depreciated. The biggest reason for the fall in the price of the place is the abandonment of the region. In other words, it has already become a headache for the Federal Government .
This was the main topic at the meeting held last Saturday (09) between Flamengo and Caixa. In the conversation, the bank did not give Fla an exact value to sell the land, however, Rodolfo Landim made it clear that the amount is no longer around R$200 million. According to UOL, negotiations were taking place slowly because the legal status of the land is very complex.
In a recent live broadcast on the Mundo na Bola channel, architect Fabrício Chicca, who frequently investigates this topic, spoke again about how Flamengo is trying attract investors to acquire the land and pay for the arena's works. “Landim says he is going to create a SAF for Flamengo and will hand over 20% of that SAF to a partner. This 20% will not give the guy (company) the right to do anything, make any decisions at the club. It's only 20%. But they will receive 20% of Flamengo's profits forever. To get this 20%, this company will put a truckload of money into Flamengo and this money will go to the stadium”, he explained.
In the political sphere, the City of Rio de Janeiro likes Flamengo's idea of build an arena in the region. This is because the construction of the Gentiliza Terminal to revitalize the area was completed in February. In this way, the City Hall sees Fla as a great asset to 'finish the job' and make the region completely modern: something unthinkable a while ago.
Flamengo and Caixa Econômica left pre-scheduled meetings for the coming months, but no date and location have been defined yet. In the next meetings, the tendency is for Rubro-Negro to also present a financial offer for the purchase of the land. It is worth mentioning that even with this movement, Fla is not giving up on the Maracanã bid.

Flamengo will have two important absences for the duel against Bahia, this Sunday (5), at 6:30 pm, at Arena Fonte Nova, for the 27th round of the Brazilian Championship . Defender Léo Pereira and full-back Alex Sandro received their third yellow card in the goalless draw against Cruzeiro and are serving an automatic suspension.
Alex Sandro was cautioned in the 11th minute for a hard foul on Christian without the ball. Léo Pereira was booked for fouling Kaio Jorge, accumulating infractions that resulted in a suspension . The absence of the duo forces changes in the red-and-black defense.
With the absences, coach Filipe Luís is expected to make changes. The likely starting lineup includes Rossi; Varela (or Emerson Royal), Danilo, Léo Ortiz, and Viña (or Ayrton Lucas); Jorginho (Allan or De La Cruz), Saúl, and Arrascaeta; Samuel Lino, Gonzalo Plata (or Carrascal), and Pedro . On the other side, Bahia faces a crisis of absences. There are 13 confirmed absences—between suspensions and injuries—in addition to doubts like Ramos Mingo, who was injured in the last match. The Esquadrão, currently sixth with 40 points , will face an even greater challenge against the championship leader.

Bahia will have great difficulties when facing Flamengo this Sunday (5), in the 27th round of the Brazilian Championship. The team led by Rogério Ceni has 13 absences, a record number of the season , for the clash at Arena Fonte Nova, in Salvador, at 6:30 pm (Brasília time).
The Tricolor de Aço will have absences across all positions: goalkeeper, defense, full-backs, midfield, and attack. Nine players are injured and four are suspended, forcing the coach to resort to an alternative formation to face the league leaders.
Among the players missing are Luciano Juba, Rodrigo Nestor, Santiago Arias, and Sanabria , as well as players recovering from injuries like Kanu and Erick. The situation forces Ceni to assemble a new defense and even consider potential debutants.
With so many absences, Rogério Ceni should send an alternative team to the field against Flamengo : Ronaldo; Gilberto, Fredi, Rezende and Zé Guilherme; Acevedo, Jean Lucas and Everton Ribeiro; Kayky, Iago Borduchi (or Michel Araújo, Tiago or Cauly) and Willian José.
