Léo Pereira, Flamengo defender, is enjoying his vacation to the fullest. This is because the defender took a chance on a new profession, DJ. The player participated in an event hosted by musician Dennis DJ at Praia de Maracaípe, in Pernambuco. He even took the opportunity to present a Rubro Negro shirt to Dennis.

Enjoying his vacation, Léo Pereira knows that his name is being speculated in some clubs in Europe. Recently, the Greek press reported that Olympiacos would be interested in taking the Flamengo defender. However, Mais Querido's board does not want to sell the player.

GE contacted the player who made it clear that his desire is to remain at Flamengo next season:  “I'm happy because playing for Flamengo we know which is very complicated, I had a very difficult start here. Now going into my second year finishing as a starter is very important. I intend to play for Flamengo for many more years and, God willing, as a starter”, he said in an interview with Fred Gomes.

SUMMARY OF 2023 BY LÉO PEREIRA

Léo also responded about the Flamengo's disappointments this season and said that details make the difference. Mais QUerido lost all seven titles he played for in 2023, in addition to being runner-up in the Copa do Brasil to São Paulo and falling early in the Libertadores.

“Football is a lot of detail, we prepared and gave his best in every game. Sometimes, you falter in a ‘small detail’ and you are playing against very qualified players. We failed in these details, the other teams were happy and managed to beat us”, he concluded.

DJ and producer Dennis, in collaboration with Luan Pereira, released this Thursday (29) the track “F1000”, available on all streaming platforms. The music brings an innovative fusion of funk and agrijo, two styles that have won over different audiences in Brazil. In addition to the release of the single, a music video for the song was also released on Dennis' official YouTube channel.

AUDIOVISUAL CELEBRATES THE FUSION OF CULTURES

The music video for “F1000” was directed by Ygor de Oliveira and presents a narrative that unites rural and urban life. The artists appear driving their iconic Ford F1000, pickup trucks that became a symbol of the Brazilian countryside in the 1980s. The story of the video follows a romantic encounter, highlighting the essence of rural culture and its encounter with the urban universe, reinforcing the theme of music.

With more than 25 years of career, Dennis is one of the most renowned figures in the electronic music and funk scene in Brazil. The DJ has accumulated several successes and is preparing for an important performance at Rock in Rio, scheduled for September 14th, at Palco Favela. This will be one of the highlights of his career, where he intends to mix his roots and musical influences in a memorable performance.

INFLUENCES AND ORIGINS

Born in Suzano, in the interior of São Paulo, Dennis was raised in Rosana, where he had his first contact with country music, a style that shaped his influences since childhood. Growing up around local radio stations and parties, he developed an appreciation for country music, which later joined electronic beats and funk in his artistic career.
