The jewel of Flamengo's academy, Lorran, is one of the highlights of the Brazilian under-17 team for the category's World Cup. The competition based in Indonesia began this Friday (10) and has an end scheduled for December 2nd, bringing together 24 teams.

Canarinho won the tournament in 1997, 1999, 2003 and 2019, the last being of these achievements, including the title goal scored by another jewel of the base, Lázaro, current player for Almeria, in Spain. Therefore, Amarelinha's success on Indonesian soil could once again pass through the feet of a Flamengo offspring.

In addition to Lorran, Rubro Negro will have another Garoto do Ninho representing the club at the World Cup. The young defender João Victor, just 16 years old, was called up for the second time and is another jewel of Mais Querido who packed his bags heading to Indonesia.

Lorran, in addition to having to focus on the national team and do his best, he still has to face the pressure of being on the radar of some European teams, which will mean that the athlete will be watched more closely by his potential interested parties throughout the World Cup.

Even with the Current polls from major European clubs, Lorran's transfer to foreign football still remains on hold. This is because the player will only be able to sign with a team and play abroad as soon as he reaches the age of majority, that is, in July 2024. Therefore, Flamengo will still be able to take advantage of the young man's football before he leaves the club.
