FLAMENGO'S JEWEL, IGOR JESUS ​​AWAKENS THE INTEREST OF EUROPEAN GIANT

Even with the transfer window closed, the football market remains busy. Young midfielder Igor Jesus, from Flamengo, aroused the interest of Porto, from Portugal. According to journalist Julio Miguel Neto, the Portuguese team is monitoring the player and may make a proposal in the next mid-year window.

At 21 years old, Igor Jesus recently renewed with Flamengo until December 2027. The midfielder became a professional last season and has already played more than 30 games in the first team. He began to gain space at the end of Jorge Sampaoli's tenure and gained momentum with Tite, who took advantage of him in the absence of Pulgar and Allan at the beginning of the year.

In addition to Flamengo, Igor Jesus also stood out in the Brazilian under-23 team. At the end of last year, he was called up to compete in the Pan-American Games in Santiago, Chile, and was an absolute starter in the campaign to win the gold medal in men's football, a title that Brazil had not won since 1987.
