0Flamengo is preparing for the construction of its new stadium. The dream of having an arena to call your own became closer after the purchase of the Gasologista land, in the port region of Rio de Janeiro. The club's President, Rodolfo Landim, wrote an article in the space provided by publicist Washington Olivetto in his column in the newspaper 'O Globo'. Football council member Diogo Lemos endorsed the red-black president's words on social media.
The counselor's publication sparked a debate between Diogo Lemos and the journalist Mauro Cezar Pereira
a>. In response to Lemos' original post, Mauro Cezar questioned the lack of concrete information on the part of the club regarding the stadium project and how Flamengo intends to raise resources to finance a project with such a level of importance and cost to the club's coffers.
Diogo Lemos then responded to the journalist with a long message, where he tried to resolve some of the questions frequently asked by red and black people. The advisor stated that the club hired a consultancy to carry out a Technical and Economic Feasibility Study (EVTE) and that this was presented to the city of Rio de Janeiro and was what convinced the city's executive. Lemos also guaranteed that a completed stadium project could cost up to 5% of the final value of the project.
On the financial issue, Diogo reaffirmed the position of selling the Cepacs (Certificate of Additional Construction Potential) of the stadium's land. Gávea and guaranteed that they can raise R$600 million for the stadium project. Additionally, he cited revenue from Naming Rights, when a company puts its name in an arena for marketing purposes. Mauro Cezar mentioned that these are paid in the long term, but Diogo Lemos states that Flamengo can request an advance of amounts through a financial operation with costs (a bank loan using the money receivable as guarantees).
Finally, Mauro Cezar questioned the lack of a detailed study by the club to prove that the proposals referred to by the counselor are valid and safe and, to exemplify his point, he asked how Flamengo estimated the value of R$600 million for the sale of Cepacs' land Gavea. The journalist stated that he was in favor of building the red-black stadium, but not at the expense of Mais Querido's financial health.

0Last Tuesday, the candidate for re-election for mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes, denied the journalist Ancelmo Gois, from Globo. In a post on Instagram, the mayor informed that the city hall will be responsible for removing the megastructure on the gas meter site, different from what was reported. Furthermore, he guaranteed that Flamengo will have its new stadium, with the best conditions and security.
The news published by Ancelmo informs that Flamengo would have to pay R$100 million to remove a large gas structure present on land acquired by the club, which is owned by CEG and CEG-Rio, which are companies that are part of the gas concessionaire Naturgy.
According to the article, the companies were informed that Flamengo is the responsible for bearing the expenses, as provided for in one of the annexes to the land purchase and transfer contract. The clause, however, does not have a specified limit.
Paes stated that the values for the transfer of the structure are different from what was pointed out in the article by Ancelmo Gois. Furthermore, it exempted Flamengo from any responsibility, and that the city hall has been planning to remove it for years.
“They are making me defend @flamengo more than I would like: let it be clear that this is not the The cost of this transfer and when it happens will be the responsibility of the city of Rio, which knows that this structure cannot be in an area that is already receiving so many residential buildings. It's been in our plans for a long time! Flamengo will have its new stadium there in the gasometer with all the quality and safety that the region demands and deserves. Period!”, published the mayor.
Mais Querido signed four players in this transfer window
|
0When the Flamengo delegation embarked for São Paulo this Saturday afternoon (31), Diogo Lemos, member of Mais Querido's football council, opened up about the club's movements in the transfer window.
< "We are always paying attention to the market, but, with this window movement, we are ending our participation. Unless a good opportunity arises there, or an exit with replacement. But, now, we understand that there is a good squad to compete in competitions", said Diogo Lemos. REINFORCEMENTS FOR THE SEQUENCE OF THE SEASONMais Querido made four signings in the current transfer window: Carlos Alcaraz, Alex Sandro, Michael and Gonzalo Plata. FOCUS ON THE NEXT GAMEThus, with two of the four reinforcements, Tite concluded the preparation of the red and black squad this Saturday (31). Mais Querido faces Corinthians this Sunday (1) at 4pm, at Neo Química Arena. The game will be valid for the 25th round of the Brasileirão.
