Having been sidelined for almost three years, full-back Matheuzinho is in the process of recovery. Gabigol, formerly of Flamengo, has been facing a period of low minutes at Cruzeiro , playing mostly as an option on the bench. Vasco da Gama has made progress in negotiations and has finalized the signing of midfielder Matheus França, formerly of Flamengo . According to information released by Rádio Itatiaia, the Vasco da Gama club reached an agreement with Crystal Palace in England to loan the player until June 2026. The agreement does not include a buyout clause at the end of the contract.
With negotiations close to being finalized, the expectation is that Matheus França will land in Rio de Janeiro by Sunday (24) to undergo medical examinations. If approved, the midfielder will sign a contract with Vasco for the period defined in the agreement.
