The Espião Estatístico team carried out a comprehensive survey of all situations in which decisions on the field were modified after the intervention of the video referee, with the aim of analyzing the impact of this technology on the tournament. Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores.

This Monday (12), CBD released the VAR audio on Palmeiras' goal attempts against Flamengolast Sunday (11). Remembering that the match played at Maracanã ended in a 1-1 draw.
Palmeiras had one goal disallowed for offside and another validated after a VAR check. Video refereeing drew the lines for both plays, but many fans of the São Paulo team complained about the first cancellation.
On that occasion, Flaco López scored his goal, but it was canceled due to a millimeter offside by Gustavo Gómez in the play. Maurício had taken a free kick and the Paraguayan defender headed it, with Flaco taking advantage of the rebound to fill the net, but the captain of the São Paulo team was in an irregular position.
