. Paquetá, formerly of Flamengo, stole the spotlight by opening the scoring and leading the Hammers' midfield, but the 2-2 draw revealed a balanced match.

0Last Sunday, the clash between West Ham and Nottingham Forest shook the Premier League fields. The protagonist of the match was the skilled ex-Flamengo midfielder, Paquetá, who, by opening the scoring with a goal in the 3rd minute, demonstrated once again his mastery on the field. However, despite the promising start, the Hammers were unable to maintain their advantage and ended up drawing 2-2.
Paquetá, when orchestrating the midfield, was not limited to just the opening goal. His performance was marked by two tackles, a cut, an interception and leadership in the London team's plays. The ability of Flamengo's youngster stood out, highlighting his importance not only as a goalscorer, but as a fundamental piece in the construction of plays. The dispute between the two teams revealed a balanced game, with West Ham opening the score early on thanks to the goal from Paquetá.
The midfielder received the ball in front of the penalty area and, with a cross shot, beat the opposing goalkeeper, without giving him a chance to save. However, Nottingham Forest managed to equalize the score in the first stage, taking advantage of a mistake by Areola, with Awoniyi being responsible for leveling the playing field. In the second stage, Paquetá continued to be the team's maestro, serving his teammates, who, in turn, wasted several opportunities.
In the 21st minute, Elanga turned the game around for Nottingham Forest by receiving the free ball and finishing past the Hammers goalkeeper. West Ham's response came quickly, with Bowen equalizing in the 23rd minute, after a precise corner kick by Ward-Prowse. In the final minutes of the match, Paquetá's team looked for a comeback. In another corner, in the 43rd minute, Ward-Prowse found Soucek, who, despite not being at his best in the match, was decisive in West Ham's victory.
With this result, the Hammers won three important points, moving up to ninth place in the table, with 17 points. After the end of this exciting round, the teams will take advantage of the FIFA Data break. However, it is noteworthy that Paquetá is not among those called up by Fernando Diniz. Thus, the talented Flamengo player will only return to the pitch on 11/25, when West Ham will face Burnley, in another Premier League challenge.
The teams play the first game of the quarterfinals at 7 p.m.

Bruno Henrique takes the lead in Flamengo's attack after injuries to teammates

0With several casualties in the offensive sector, Bruno Henrique, 33 years old, will be the main name in Flamengo's attack in the next matches. The striker, who stands out for his long-standing partnership with Arrascaeta, believes that this harmony will be fundamental for the team to maintain its good performance in the competitions it competes in, such as the Brazilian Championship, the Libertadores and the Copa do Brasil.
"We are the players at the front. Arrascaeta is a classic midfielder, who knows how to create plays and finish. Being close to him increases the chances of scoring and assisting. With his quality and the more than six years we have played together, we understand each other just by looking at each other", stated Bruno Henrique in an interview with ESPN.
Flamengo will no longer have Pedro and Everton Cebolinha until the end of the season. Furthermore, Michael and Luiz Araújo are only expected to return to the pitch in the final stretch of 2024. Gabigol, who also faces physical problems, has been used less frequently. With this series of absences, the leading role falls to Bruno Henrique, who has the mission of leading the red and black attack at a decisive moment of the season.
To make up the offensive sector, Mais Querido also has newcomers Gonzalo Plata and Carlinhos, as well as young promises from the club's youth categories. Despite the losses, the expectation is that Bruno Henrique's experience and quality will be enough to keep the team competitive in competitions.
