Flamengo president Rodolfo Landim decided on the capacity of Flamengo stadium, which will be built in the Gasmetro region, in the Port Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The project stipulated by the leader foresees 92 thousand seats in the future home of Mengão. Thus, Rubro-Negro will have the structure to meet the demand of fans and provide comfort. Furthermore, Flamengo will have the largest stadium in South America. Today, River Plate has the Monumental de Núñez with 84,567 seats. Journalist Bernardo Ramos pointed out that the maximum capacity should be close to 80 thousand seats.

The desired location for building your own home is the Gasologista region, in the Port Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The land is owned by an investment fund of Caixa Econômica Federal, valued at R$ 250 million.

According to the investigation by journalist Gustavo Henrique “Dando Choque”, the club's board of directors has already confirmed a contribution of R$ 700 million with Banco BRB, the club's sponsor, to start the construction of its own house.

The money from the bank gives the right to naming rights for the possible new Rubro-Negro stadium. In this way, Mais Querido's home would be called “Arena BRB Zico”, in honor of the greatest idol in the club's history.

Flamengo projects an absurd amount of revenue long before the new stadium is opened in Gasometer , port region of Rio de Janeiro. The novelty is the sale of 8 thousand seats in advance at the stadium. Each worth R$100 thousand, generating a value of R$800 million. As the stadium project progresses, Flamengo's board of directors will provide more details, mainly the validity period for the purchase of each seat.
