Next Sunday, December 3rd, Maracanã will be the stage for an exciting spectacle that goes beyond the four lines. Flamengo, in yet another show of gratitude and recognition, is preparing a special tribute to two idols who left their mark on the club: Filipe Luís and Rodrigo Caio. The initiative, which has already become a tradition, follows the example of the emotional farewell to Diego Ribas and Diego Alves last year.

In the confrontation with Cuiabá, the red-black shirt will bring a unique message, a tribute warm welcome to Filipe Luís and Rodrigo Caio, as revealed by the sports portal "GE". This practice of immortalizing special moments in the sacred fabric already happened last November, when the Diegos said goodbye. On that occasion, the phrase "Thank you, Diegos!" adorned the Flamengo uniform, marking the farewell of the experienced players.

Expectations are high to discover which phrase will be chosen to honor the achievements and dedication of Filipe Luís and Rodrigo Caio. It will certainly be a gesture full of emotion, reflecting the importance of these two athletes in the recent history of Mengão. Not limited to just the message on the uniform, the club is preparing a real trophy exhibition, where the cups won by Rodrigo Caio and Filipe Luís will be highlighted before the opening whistle. A unique opportunity for fans to connect even more with the glories achieved by their idols.

In addition, a grandiose mosaic is being meticulously planned to color the Maracanã stands. A true collective work of art that will express the affection and admiration of the Rubro-Negra Nation for Filipe Luís and Rodrigo Caio. The expectation is that this visual spectacle will be another unforgettable memory for fans and those honored.

The duel between Flamengo and Cuiabá, valid for the 37th round of the Brazilian Championship, promises to be a chapter in itself in the season . At 4pm, the ball rolls onto the hallowed Maracanã lawn, but the emotions will begin much earlier, with the celebration of the trajectory of two warriors who left their mark on the club's history.

Get ready to be moved, red-black fan! Maracanã will be the stage for an unforgettable afternoon, full of tributes and gestures of gratitude. After all, celebrating idols is a tradition that Flamengo is keen to keep alive, fueling the love that unites the team with its immense fans.

FLAMENGO'S MOST EXPENSIVE REINFORCEMENT

Signed for R$143 million, Samuel Lino is the most expensive signing in Flamengo 's history. Despite only playing nine games for Flamengo, he has already scored two goals and four assists, in addition to an above-average performance . His strong start caught the attention of Carlo Ancelotti, who called him up for the first time to represent Brazil.

The Brazilian National Team's first training session for the final round of the World Cup Qualifiers took place this Saturday (6), in Teresópolis, in cold temperatures of 16°C, rain and even fog. Coach Carlo Ancelotti made important changes, including the presence of Lucas Paquetá and Fabrício Bruno , both revealed by Flamengo, in the starting lineup.

The activity took place on a reduced field and without goalkeepers, with the focus already on the match against Bolivia, at the altitude of El Alto, a city located 4,100 meters above sea level . This will be the Italian coach's first time leading a team in such conditions.

TEAM TESTED BY ANCELOTTI

During the training session, Ancelotti fielded the team with: Wesley, Gabriel Magalhães, Fabrício Bruno, and Caio Henrique; Bruno Guimarães, Jean Lucas, Andrey Santos, and Lucas Paquetá; Raphinha and Richarlison . During training, the coach also made changes, such as the introduction of Vitinho in Wesley's place.

With the national team already qualified for the World Cup, the Italian coach will be observing the final two rounds. Even so, Ancelotti assured that the group is focused on beating the Bolivians , maintaining the goal of preparing the players for the World Cup.

CASEMIRO IS OUT

A definite absence for Brazil is Casemiro. Suspended for his third yellow card, received in the 3-0 victory over Chile, the midfielder was released from training camp and will not participate in training at Granja Comary.

PAQUETÁ PLEASE THE COACH

Playing in the second half against Chile, Paquetá scored in less than a minute , helped control the match, and directly contributed to the third goal. The performance made a great impression on Ancelotti, who praised the midfielder's versatility.

"Obviously, Paquetá, because of his quality, needs to be here. He can play in different ways. Yesterday he played as a wide midfielder , but he wouldn't have a problem playing as a second midfielder or even as a first, because he has great ball handling skills," the coach highlighted.

After a busy transfer window in which they managed to retain one of their top players, Fulham is preparing a reward for Rodrigo Muniz, a striker who emerged from Flamengo. The player is expected to receive a contract extension with a significant salary increase .

The decision by the board and coach Marco Silva is strategic: to protect the 24-year-old athlete after rejecting offers, including one from Atalanta , who will compete in the Champions League. According to the British website Give Me Sport (GMS), the Italian club showed strong interest, but the offer did not reach the asking price of £43 million (R$312.5 million), stipulated by the Londoners.

MUNIZ HAS A CONTRACT UNTIL 2026

Fulham is looking to expedite negotiations, as Muniz is in the final 12 months of his contract. Currently, the number 9 earns around £7,500 (R$54,500) per week , one of the lowest salaries in the first team. The board recognizes that the compensation no longer reflects the Brazilian's prominence.

The concern is to prevent the player from signing a pre-contract in January and leaving for free at the end of the season. To convince him to stay, the club guaranteed him a prominent role in Marco Silva's plans, which has been using him in the starting lineup.

GOOD PHASE IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE

Last season, the former Flamengo player scored 11 goals and has already started the current campaign decisively, scoring the equalizer against Brighton in the opening round of the Premier League. Since then, he has started against Manchester United and Chelsea , cementing his place in the team.

With the transfer window closed, Fulham turns its attention to internal negotiations. Talks with Muniz's representatives are expected to begin in the coming weeks , with the board willing to offer a significant raise as a demonstration of confidence in the "Nest Boy"'s future.
