Forward Gabigol is going through a bad phase with Manto Sagrado. The player has not scored with a ball for four months and, in addition, with the expulsion against Fluminense, he reached a negative mark in Brazilian football. This is because, in a survey carried out by 'GE', Gabi appears first on the list of players with most cards received in Brazil's elite since 2019. The striker has two more warnings than second place, Kannemann. CHECK THE LIST:

Gabigol – 76 yellow and nine red – 85 cards

Kannenmann – 75 yellow and eight red – 83 cards

Cuesta – 76 yellow and two red – 78 cards

Felipe Melo – 71 yellows and five reds – 76 cards

Allan – 66 yellows and seven reds – 73 cards

Felipe (Fortaleza) – 62 yellows and four reds – 66 cards

Zé Rafael – 60 yellow cards and five red cards – 65 cards

Fagner – 62 yellow cards and three red cards – 65 cards

Bruno Henrique – 58 yellow cards and four red cards – 62 cards

Flamengo drew with Fluminense last Saturday at Maracanã. A reserve in the classic, Gabigol was called into action in the second half, but ended up being sent off after confusion with Nino. Off this Sunday, like the entire squad, the striker made a post on social media and outraged the red and black fans.

At the end of the afternoon, Gabi posted a photo on Twitter in which he appears with the Flamengo uniform and smiling. In the image, the player is on the Maracanã bench. The post was enough for the player to be attacked on social media.

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores.

Following is the Red and Black lineup:Rossi, Varela, Fabrício Bruno, Léo Pereira and Alex Sandro; Pulgar, De la Cruz, Gerson and Arrascaeta; Plata and Bruno Henrique.

Alex Sandro and Plata, debutants in last Sunday's classic, remain in the team after having good performances in the draw against Vasco. Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region. Check it out:

"The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that the athlete Gabriel Barbosa underwent tests that did not diagnose an injury to the posterior muscle of his right thigh. However, the Technical Committee opted for precaution and did not list him for the duel against Peñarol due to fibrosis in the region. Gabi is handed over to physiotherapists and physical trainers for the series of decisive games of the season."
