Uol columnist and Jovem Pan journalist Mauro Cezar Pereira, analyzed on the program "Posse de Bola" that Tite is going through a bad moment at Flamengo, but highlighted that the criticisms of his work are exaggerated and appeal to arguments that are unrealistic. p>

Mauro Cezar Pereira's full speech follows:

'Many feed on Flamengo crisis': "What this part of the fans and the part of the crazy media, who want to change coaches every three months, think should be solemnly ignored by any professional, serious football manager. You don't play football like that, let them be solemnly ignored, who speak alone, especially because there are many who feed on Flamengo's crisis, they live off the crisis because crisis gives more audience, so let's nurture it, feed it, boost it. The allegations are narrow-minded most of the time. , they are not pertinent, balanced, common-sense criticisms."

'This frenzy against Tite is crazy': "Tite's work is reasonable. It was good at the state level within what can be assessed at the state level, today it is reasonable, with ups and downs, and the moment is very bad. He's been wrong, the issue of sparing players was an exaggeration, but at the same time yesterday two were injured, Arrascaeta and Pulgar, so the question remains, what if he didn't save? Arrascaeta was away for two Wednesdays, in fact, Flamengo's last good performance was against São Paulo, he didn't play. In other words, the phase of some players is not good either. Of course, Tite needs to act quickly, change the game system, try new formulas, but this madness, this frenzy, this 'out, Tite', this is crazy stuff, it doesn't make the slightest sense. And the references used by the defenders of these theses are totally distorted from reality, the memory they have of what happened to other coaches does not reproduce what the facts themselves were, the reality, it is all from the fertile imagination of crazy people who seem to want spill over other problems within football."

'This time it's Tite, there have been others': "Flamengo is a victim of this because of the top hats who have already bowed to the whims of this crazy wing of the Flamengo fans and part of the media and influencers, who make a living from it, who maintain an audience with it, who are unable to evaluate football in a more balanced way. There are some who scream, scream, throw tantrums, that's all they do. There is no healthy discussion, where you went wrong, where you got it right, where you can improve. This time it's Tite, there have been others, and they keep imagining the return of Jorge Jesus, who was wonderful at Flamengo but didn't want to come back and is there in Saudi Arabia, he doesn't think much about Flamengo, he's taking care of his life and makes him very good. So, these guys don't even have self-love as fans, if they actually are. This is Flamengo's scenario, it's time for a leader to appear and say what he's going to do. Either you keep the coach and carry on with the work, or let's face it, it won't be possible, Flamengo will never get rid of this, never, ever, and this only happens because they have already bowed down to this crazy section of the fans, which really seems don't understand how things work", concluded the journalist.

It's worth remembering that Flamengo will perform again this Monday afternoon and begin preparing for the game against Amazonas, in the third phase of the Copa do Brasil. This is a great chance for Flamengo to show good football and cool the criticism towards the team and Tite.

This Thursday (18), Flamengo begins the dispute of the quarterfinals of the Copa Libertadores against Estudiantes, at Maracanã. On the eve of the confrontation, the president and idol of the Argentine club, Juan Sebastián Verón, spoke about the expectations for the duel against Rubro-Negro.

DIFFERENT LEVELS

During an institutional event in La Plata, Verón highlighted the financial difference between the teams , with Mengão being the team with the highest market value among the tournament participants, but recalled Estudiantes ' tradition of overcoming opponents considered favorites.

Estudiantes' Verón on Flamengo in the Libertadores: "Yes, the challenge is difficult"

"Obviously, we know the power of our opponent, but we also know that we've been through similar situations against important teams, and that the club, given its history, has risen to the occasion. We've always kept this in mind: yes, the challenge is difficult, but we can excel and represent the club well , regardless of the result. We've experienced this before, and we continue to do so," the director stated.

VERON X FLAMENGO

In the early 1990s, Verón began his career at Estudiantes and played in the 2-0 victory over Flamengo in the 1994 Supercopa Libertadores . In addition to his former club, the former midfielder also shone for major teams such as Boca Juniors, Lazio, Manchester United and Inter Milan . In 2007, he returned to Estudiantes and was a key player in their 2009 Copa Libertadores victory.

Verón retired in 2014, but returned to the field three years later as a player-president . His last official match came in 2017, against Botafogo, also in the Copa Libertadores, during the group stage.
